Looks like we get to be the guinea pigs to see what happens when a state reopens everything. I'll be staying home even more now.

Prepare for the worst. We're not even through the first wave yet so this won't be the second wave. He said our numbers will go up but "we're better prepared" now. What the what ? Sorry, but it doesn't inspire confidence. And what's up with the shelter-in-place order that stays in effect until April 30? We can get a haircut, our nails done, a tattoo, go bowling or to the gym, or get elective surgery...all while sheltering in place.

There are only 6 ICU beds in my entire county. Idiots from my rural area have been bitching & complaining about their "rights" since the shut down order came out. Well, they got their way. They can get their hair dyed, their nails done & get a little extra virus on the side. A few side orders of CV 19 to go with their burgers that they just have to have INSIDE the restaurant. Kill em all at this point. I'm so fucking over morons with faith in a death cult.

They should be made to sign a Corona Ain't No Big Deal the Cure has to be Smaller than the Disease card that won't let them in an ambulance or hospital unless it's obviously nothing to do with Covid - like a missing limb.

I hate to agree with some of you, but this whole thing, regardless of which state it is going to be a nightmare. Go grab the TP, & paper towels.......

TP & paper towels? How about the lives that will be lost? It's not about stuff, it's about dead bodies. My county has 70,000 people and 6, that's SIX ICU beds in the entire county. The entire idea that stuff is more important than lives is why states like mine are opening. Our numbers haven't declined at all, but we're the fucking guinea pigs for the GOP states.
and if your only worry is stuff, then you got bigger problems than tp & paper towels. The food chain is going to be disrupted very soon. 4 Smithfield plants have closed, 2 Tyson chicken plants just in Georgia have closed, it's now turning up in beef processing plants, and I can name 2 bread plants in Georgia that are currently shut down. But yeah, snatch up that tp!

I'm guessing your governor is best buds with the governor of Florida. Neither one has a lick of sense. Maybe it's time to buy a property "up North", just in case you need a place with better health care to escape to.

I thought about going home, but in that tiny county of 15,000 and the tiny town of fewer than 5,000, there have already been four deaths. And the health care up there is close to non-existent. The first case and first death was a high school friend whose doctor is in a town 50 miles away. He'd been to see his doc two weeks before he died Not safe anywhere. Might as well stay here where DD won't have to go to much trouble to have me turned into a crispy critter when 'Rona gets done with me!

How about the lives that be be lost - indeed. The so-called “pro-lifers” sure are not very concerned about real living people. They are more concerned with TP and getting haircuts

According to Kemp, we're "prepared" with hospital beds and equipment. I sure hope he also took into consideration having the personnel needed to take care of the people in those beds and to run that equipment.

We live in the middle of nowhere and still aren't safe. At noon each day our new stats come out, I'm waiting to see what is going on today. Didn't get up till 10:30.

Restaurants seem like the second worst scenario to be in - after crowded stadiums, theaters and bars.
My GOP governor will likely open earlier than I would prefer, but the good news is, I don't have to open. I will stay home and work. I won't eat at a restaurant- maybe for another year. But man, o man, do I want to go to the theater. And given how much my tickets cost, I am going to have a hard time not going if it is open. I will wear a mask.

Reading some of the comments online from supporters of opening the state makes me realize just how stupid this country is. People are saying "well if you want to stay home, just stay home!" Its not that easy. What if you are a restaurant worker who wants to stay home, but you can't because you've been called back into work? What about the employees of these places that are going to be called back to work and risk getting sick, all because you want to go bowling?!?!
Some people CANT just stay home, stupid idiots!
But hey, its all good. Now they can all go get those ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY tattoos!

When he was asked what information he had before he made the decision, Kemp said he spoke to the CEOs of hospitals, and they said they had plenty of bed space and furthermore, "our cases are leveling off." WTH? They are?

Well, WI lawmakers took the SIP the gov issues to the supreme court. Because, apparently, our state has money to waste and this is 'Merica and we don't need to following any 14 day protocols or stinkin' testing guidelines.

Did you hear that Wisconsin has tied 7 new virus cases to people standing in line to vote in the primary?
