I would believe there are 1900 fugitives that would be bold enough to try and buy a gun. Maybe they are hoping the background check is faulty, or they are just too stupid to follow it through. Maybe someone told them that Joe's gun shack sold a gun to them, even though there was some warrant out for their arrest. Maybe someone stole a driver's license to do the background check only to find out that guy was on the run. Many unbelievable things happen in this country. I think we have plenty of proof there are more than 1900 idiots out there.
