Took a load of stuff we'll never use again to Goodwill.
I finally got around to more scanning/shredding.

Happy Monday, everyone! Saturday: Got the truck washed, then came in to the office for 5 hours to work on reports.
Sunday: 4 loads laundry, including sheets and I hand washed my Halloween costume Stored our old sheets set and bed skirt (I washed them a few weeks ago) since they won't fit the new bed. The sheets were purchased within the past year, so I am hesitant to donate them already.
Main floor Halloween decorations taken down and put downstairs A ton of dishes Scrubbed 2 toilets Fresh towels out and TP restocked
Prepped boiled eggs, produce, and salads for this week Made 5 dozen cookies Looked for wedding gift wrap I thought we had for eons, but apparently it finally got used? Cleared off the main counter
Meal planned for this week Put the sheets back on the bed w/ the help of DH (our new bed is a split top and a PITA to work with)
Read 1 magazine and 1 newspaper, skimmed through holiday circulars and coupons Put away last week's work clothes, then compiled 5 outfits for this week Watched a bit of football and an episode of The Pioneer Woman in between all of the above And yes, I am pooped, LOL.

About the only thing I got done this past weekend was putting the Haloween Decorations away, and bringing out the Thanksgiving ones. We had a birthday party yesterday for my Mom.
I have to straighten out the F'd up mess of my frozen credit this week. Finally finished the Workmen's Comp Audit this am. Had to make it a priority b/c I realized it was overdue.
I also need to change from one Intuit payroll program to another. (From Intuit.iop to Quick books payroll). I just have to contact them when they have open office hours. Saturday - I ended up running to the bank and cleaning my kitchen - so I have to review their hours and decide if I can call in before this Saturday.
Otherwise, my list is cleaning my office and continuing to declutter. DH caulked the back door, and plans to run to the tomorrow. Idk what is going to the , but hopefully it is some of the crap that is keeping me from parking in the garage.

Took a load to recycling this weekend. Put away the Halloween decorations. I feel like skipping the Thanksgiving stuff and going straight to Christmas. Added a few items to the Goodwill box. We have a 2nd sweeper we never use - that is going to Goodwill too. Some of the countertops and sink are to be installed tomorrow. I'm a nervous wreck. So many things have gone wrong with the kitchen remodel I hate to get my hopes up. One cabinet and the 3 decorative panels are in. Need to pick those up tonight. Still waiting for one more cabinet - looking at another couple weeks for that.

Stayed home and didn't spend money this weekend but made good progress on the green section of my next quilt. I went out this morning to get gas in the car and nearly made it 3 weeks since filling up last. Also bought dog food since we were getting low and back home to work.
I did hem 2 sets of curtains this weekend and those look so nice now. I made some soup but am now out of a few key ingredients so I plan on getting more when I go shopping later this week. I think I'll focus on paper decluttering this month, and maybe the garden. It feels like all of my things are packed up but having fewer clothes is working out fine and it's only really frustrating in the kitchen without serving spoons or cookware. I would like to get a bunch of paper scanned and then shredded this month.
Quilt goal: Finish orange, purple, green, blue and yellow Paper goal: clear out the filing drawer except for 2019 bills

I just cleaned out a ton of Christmas and other stuff. It goes to an animal based charity tomorrow. My entire guest room closet is empty. Plus a lot of other clutter in my bedroom. I need to donate two chairs and a cocktail table but I have no way to get them to a charity so for now, they stay.

zibazinski I thought there are charities that pick things up? Maybe some of the others can suggest specific ones. Iggy aka IG you got so much done! Caught up with dishes and laundry. Getting more marking tomorrow and Thursday.
I auditioned for the next play tonight. I told them I only want a supporting role. Then the director asked me to read for the two leads, so I did. I have 48h to tell him whether I'd be willing to play a lead (before the next set of auditions). I brought him into Job 1, we're both at school tomorrow. He told me he's hoping I will tell him tomorrow. Learning lines is SO stressful and it's a HUGE time suck. But obviously it's fun too, and I'd be with my American peeps from last year.

zibazinski, is there a Habitat for Humanity Restore shop in your area? I think they pick up donations. Everyone is doing so well! I feel like a sluggard. I need to get busy and catch up to you all.

Along with me!
Where I live is too rural for any charity to pick up donations. When I lived in Colorado, it was no problem.

Lucy Cat needed to be fed at 3 AM. I put her off until 5 AM, but didn't get much sleep in between. Of course, she is now napping in the sunshine.
I have already done a load of laundry and run the dishwasher and it isn't 8 AM.
I'm already tired. Hope she adjusts to the time change soon.

I got a bunch of papers today but couldn't be bothered. Next weekend is a 4 day weekend here. I went to the bottle bank on my way home.
Party update: 53 Yes, 12 dunno/no responses. We're getting there!!! I have nixed the last wave of work/book club people. It's difficult at this point, it would entail asking the singles if they are bringing a plus one or not, and neither DH nor I are willing to do that.
I told the director that I would be willing to do a lead. He is also a friend and he knows it would be a huge challenge for me. Hopefully someone better will come along on Wed.
I have also basically decided to give up one class at Job 1 next semester. I haven't yet told my boss but I know I need to tell her this week.

That's too big of a party for me to enjoy.
Good for you on giving up one class. You have to take care of you.

Just talked to the painter. He will let me know when he will paint my house tomorrow. He thinks he can fit me in on Friday.
That means I have work to do Wednesday and Thursday. Tomorrow I have blood work and a mammogram and Thursday I take dad on his errands.
I just want the house painted. I'm understanding more about contractors and small jobs. They really don't want them. He does know that I want this done.

The only one I know of is Goodwill and I won’t donate to them. I will look into Metropolitan Ministries

Zib I'll PM you because if I DO get a role, I could be identifiable, and I'm a bit paranoid about that.
ETA: I told P (the director) OK, I'd do the lead. He burst out laughing and said, I knew once I got you to audition for it, you'd eventually agree to do it if you were offered it.
Mind you all, I have NOT yet been cast! BUT I am guessing I will be (hopefully in a supporting role). So, I did just give up a class at Job 1. I'm still up 3 classes from last spring (which was pretty relaxed), so hey.

Today I got some work done in the garden, I had to fix up the starter on my rototiller and then did half of the front yard. There are a lot of dead weeds to come out but I am hoping I can smooth out the dirt and then put down grass seed before it begins raining.
Quilt work is coming along slowly, I have finished about 250 of 2000+ pieces and the next section of 175 is almost ready to piece together.

Most charities around here will pick up, but they won't come into your house. If you need them to pick up, that often means you can't move it yourself.

Ugh. Well I can probably get the chairs outside by myself. I’d actually rather not have strangers inside my home anyway. The table is easy. It’s very light.

I have a sink, faucet, dishwasher and most of my countertops installed yesterday. I'm in awe. I am so pleased with the outcome. If someone can tell me how, I will post a picture. The kitchen is far from done, but that was a major milestone yesterday.

This week - bottle bank/Tues
- pick up medical exams/Wed
- proofread exam Part 1/Wed
- pharmacy - look into insurance
I have a ton of marking but am too tired in the evenings.
I just gave up a class in Sem 2. I was hesitant but it was now or never. I should still be up 3 classes compared to last spring because I should have more hours in summer term.
I signed my new contract at Job 2 today. Unfortunately I'm now paying for complementary health insurance at both jobs. I need to compare them and cancel one. Switching is such a PITA.

Analyzed my own financial spreadsheets and realized I can cash flow the painting.
Still waiting for the painter to call. We usually talk later in the day than it is now.
