Congratulations, a guy who texted angry messages about Trump to his girlfriend got fired for using work accounts for personal use.
Big win, that one. Certainly overshadows what's going on in the Manafort/Gates fiasco.

Yes everyone is correct. I was incorrect to say justice was dealt. Until Strzok is jailed justice is not served.

Now you want to jail people that haven't committed a crime! You're too much.

Yes everyone is correct. I was incorrect to say justice was dealt. Until Strzok is jailed justice is not served. Nailed for what exactly. Please elaborate and don't forget to quote the pertinent laws. We have some lawyers in this board that could help us understand your interpretation of said laws. Or not...

Heaven forbid I should text my opinion of a politician while at work! DO NOT SPEAK ILL OF THE LEADER HAIL THE LEADER! HAIL VICTORY! This is what I don't get about the whole 'lovers in the FBI thing' - Trump and the Trumpettes seem to think that the career government workers are somehow obligated to swear fidelity and a blood oath to slavishly adore and obey whoever is president at that moment.
It doesn't work that way. We don't swap out all the government employees when a new president takes office, and we don't require that all the government employees support the president. Government employees are only obligated to do their job in a nonpartisan way. (I know that's hard for Trump to understand, because he keeps trying to fire any Obama era hold overs and replace them with his own 'very high quality' toadies - but any other American citizen must have figured out at this point that their postal delivery guy doesn't change every time a new POTUS takes office).
It really isn't illegal for two government employees to bitch privately about the POTUS.

Correct, this is not justice, although people swallowing Trump's story about the election may think so. They are WRONG. At best, this is firing for cause, for using work cell phones to disparage the top boss.
That's all.

So to continue, the bolded #2 *MUST* be true in order to fire Strzok. His actions in the investigation must be clear cut discriminatory AGAINST Trump and not unusually in his favor, like the real investigations have shown.

That's right, But, being one of those virtually at the top of the FBI,,does a Federal investigation, I expect far more of a neutral position than Strzok. But then again, well, the FBI is not that highly ethical agency that it may have been at one time!
did you see this? FBI acting like bad boys and girls again!

So are you of the opinion Meuller's whole case hinges solely upon what Strzok might have discovered before he was removed from the investigation last year, and therefore, Mueller should shut it down because everything is tainted and biased?

I wonder if he had enough time in to qualify for a pension and if so if he can collect it...knowing how the Donald loves to take vengeance on those he feels cross him..I am sure our leader got involved...probably one of the first thing he asked when he gave the word to cut the mans throat.

I would not be suprised if Sessions ordered Strzok fired and that was Sessions' peace offering to trump after trump tweeted Sessions was "...scared stiff and Missing in Action."

Private e-mails or messages don't belong on work equipment. I don't believe he got screwed due to the proliferation of personal messages. I also think termination of employment is enough punishment for the crime. I know that my last two jobs had agreements you signed upon employment that you would not use company equipment for personal actions. The agreement stated very clearly that it could be terminating offense. If you do your personal e-mails on your personal account, then you're pretty much in the clear, right?

The only non-neutral comments I saw from him were private emails intended just for his girlfriend at the time.
I haven't seen any evidence that he was biased when doing his job. Do you have proof that he was?

So if u sent a email to working college on work unit asking them if want to get a beer after work that conceivable be a firing offense...never worked where I had such equipment...thus my asking.

You called him all kinds of salacious names, But he does not excuse himself cause, he can set aside all of your differences! Actually, if he was a good judge, he could set aside his personal feelings, or, if he couldn't, he would recuse himself from the case and let someone else decide it.
Good judges, and good DOJ employees, are those employees who are not seeking to screw over someone just because of their political views, or because of things they might have said or done on the public record. Good judges and good DOJ employees seek justice. That means if they find proof that someone did not act in an illegal way, they do not prosecute them, but if they do find illegal acts, they will prosecute them. The world is just legal vs illegal, to those kinds of people. Politics and catering to certain people don't enter into it. (Even Sessions, Trump's prime toady, did the correct legal thing in recusing himself, even knowing that Trump would have a melt down).
That's not to say there aren't bad apples in the DOJ, just like there are in other professions, but Trump seems to believe anyone in the DOJ who does not toady to him is corrupt and needs to be jailed, but that's not true. They are there to seek justice. Period. If the president hasn't done anything wrong, he has nothing to worry about. If he has, then he should be worried - but it's not the DOJ's responsibility to cover up his crimes for him, out of a sense of loyalty. This isn't a monarchy where we pretend not to know that the king has knocked up all the serving wenches, out of loyalty to his position.

ANY personal use was an offense. Now, would the company actually do it? I don't know as I never used my corporate equipment for personal communication except at times where it was approved. If I was traveling, I could use my cell phone or computer to communicate with my husband or family.

Just out of curiosity, if you knew O.C was investigating something you were accused of,, I am sure that you would believe O.C. could put aside any difference in views!
