I'm all for term limits ... I am all for limiting terms to the number that voters determine. I don't support stripping individuals of that right.

Not just a joke for the Democrats. I read one recently where some one says " Be careful if you go out and play in the back yard. I just let the dog out, and I don't want you to step in the Pelosi and track it back into the house" #presidentpelosi She is still cute

OK, I may be stupid, lazy and/or ignorant. But why in the H E double hockey sticks would anyone FIRST want to work in politics, and more importantly SECOND beyond the age of 65?? They all have a shit ton of money, so is it ego? Heck, everyday I work I try to bring down my retirement age closer to 60.

I think it is up to Rep. Pelosi's constituents to decide whether or not they think she represents them well.At the same time, I think that Democratic House leadership desperately needs a broom. When the Dems take the majority this fall I really, really do NOT want to see Nancy, Steny, or the old guard step back in to the Speaker's position. Time for new leadership. Sadly... I agree with this 100%. Unfortunately, either she does "represent them well" (which is sad for it's own reasons... that there could be that many idiots in one district)... OR... they don't have the capacity to see how poorly they are represented by her. Either way though... I sadly do agree that it is up to them. (also agree with the need for new leadership in the Democratic party... but I also think the Republican party needs new leadership as well.)

as occupying force, definitely since the take over of Jeruselum and the territories... Anyone can accuse anyone of anything... doesn't make it reality that they are indeed what they are accused of being though. For example: Someone could accuse you of being someone that sexually violates the knotholes in trees.... IF someone were to do such a despicable thing, would that mean that you actually DO do that? OR... should we assume that you are innocent of that charge until your accuser can PROVE the assertion/accusation? Of course there are no consequences... when something is CONSENSUAL. How many times does "they let you" need to be explained before it sinks in for some people? And the part in red... Didn't Obama do that exact same thing? Insulted Israel (long time ally), and praised Iran (long time enemy led by a murderer and despot)? Why yes... yes he did! And he was lauded for that. There are numerouse threads on the topic , rape if a 13 year old prostitute...witnesses etc, etc....I can fill the page with them...He did it....ran and partied with convicted one.. ---------------------------------------------- "The allegations aren’t entirely implausible on their face. The accuser says Trump raped her repeatedly at parties thrown by since-convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who was widely known to throw wild parties with young women and girls. Epstein was convicted in 2008 of soliciting an underage girl for prostitution and served a small portion of an 18-year sentence. In a New York magazine profile of Epstein before he went to prison, and long before Trump ran for president, Trump acknowledged that he knows Epstein. “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy,’’ Trump says in the story. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it ― Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”---------------------------------------- Will he have to answer in court? No...to much time has passed...and question of why case died...A prostitute...unlawful, word of a prostitute against a billionaire who has been shown to use lawyer, funds to quiet other allegations...and we are finding out not allegations but happenings. ----------------------------------------------- www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-rape-case_us_581a31a5e4b0c43e6c1d9834-------------------------------------------- How does Obama end up in this...don't believe he has been accused of rape and as far as insulting Israel....how? As President who made sure Israel was given aid, military items above and beyond the authorized aid of $4 Billion a year...each and every year while he was POTUS...along with the aid he also wanted certain things from the Netanyahu government regarding West Bank...Settlements...work toward some kind of peace between the parties. No he didn't kiss Netanyahu's butt...don't u feel a President has the right to have a say in certain policies if one gives $ 4 billion , plus a year to them? I believe the POTUS is responsible for foreign policy in how it's conducted by our nation during his time in office...hopefully with consultation with intelligence agencies, experienced and veteran members of the House and Senate, both parties... Fact is, after 70 years of control of Palestinians , especially since the take over of the West Bank , Jeruselum...as occupiers , the over all treatment and feelings of average Israeli's. especially the youth...toward the Palestinians, is not good . They, Palestinians , are over all treated as crap...Granted Israelis were faced with attacks, bombings...at times a state of war by unhappy Palestinians..State of war as declared by Hamas...thus their building of their wall...seems to be mostly effective in stopping daily major violence. That Netanyahu was not happy with his complaints....tough cookies. I am a Jew, a firm believer in Israel as a " Jewish State"...feel if they[ Palestinians / Israeli's] don't come to a agreement, shortly after I leave this earth, if not before....when the Palastinian population is greater then the Jewish one, they reproduce in far greater numbers then the Jews do and even with the ultra orthodox tendency to have hugh families, no way they keep up.......there is going to be a hugh problem for that state, much like South Africa faced and who enacted apartheid and we all know how the world treated that situation. Also believe Trumps recognition of Jeruselum as the Israeli Capital...not needed..made the possible solution of a agreement more difficult...Just about the whole world feels that way..long time allies, long time foes, just folks who sit on the sidelines. Just because Trump says needed...lets face it...if he says it, then it's suspect. As far as praising Iran's leadership...he did get a nuclear deal signed....which it seemed they were in compliance with...As far as the rest of Trumps complaints, meddling in middle east doings, Syria, Yeman, pressure on the Saudis..all that was NOT part of the NUCLEAR agreement. It was the nuclear that we and it seemed the Israelis and Saudis too were most worried about...Obama came through on that.. The Donald wasn't happy...now wants to stir the pot even more by putting more sanctions on Iran....Pressuring long time allies to support us...great way to get along , make friendsand influence people... Seems more like the doings of corrupt regimes. Soviets who controlled their satellite countries until the Soviet system imploded...seems we are copying their actions now in how we deal with allies. When do u think these democracies say enough already and start looking to other folks as allies...say China ? Just saying. "Guilt by association" is not a thing here in the US.... so who cares who he knew or who knew him. If you don't know that he participated in the rape with actual facts about his participation... our justice system REQUIRES for him to be "presumed innocent until PROVEN guilty". If someone accused you of raping a 13 year old because you knew a rapist (whether or not you KNEW that they were a rapist at the time is never confirmed)... Wouldn't you prefer that people presume your innocence until you could be PROVEN guilty? On the rest: I'm just curious... were you asleep the entire 8 years of Obama's reign as Kin... umm... Emper... ummm... errr... President? Obama is in my post ONLY in reference to our treatment of other countries and their leaders, he's got nothing to do with rape (I believe I was very clear what references I was making regarding him. I'm all for term limits me too. 2 years for reps, 4 years for presidents, 6 years for senators. precisely the same as we have today.
I agree, but darn, tell it to the citizens who continue to vote for the person making them a lock in their House district seat, or as the Senate position is concerned. In the first Congressional district in Indiana, the House of Representative position stays Democrat, serves for life, until they die, get arrested, or seek another office. At least in Indiana, the Senate winners either move on after about two terms, to either private business, or get elected as Governor or to a national office, or once and awhile get beat in the actual Senate race.

LOL, I remember this! Wonder why these movies are never shown on late night television..........is it on netflix? At the end of the movie, some young kid tells the president they are going to put everyone over ten out of business. And if you can stand watching the entire movie on your computer, here is the complete movie on Youtube.

They all have a shit ton of money, so is it ego? Heck, everyday I work I try to bring down my retirement age closer to 60. Power and money. Once they get there the lobbyist start pouring the bucks to them to vote a certain way. Ross Perot was right in 1992 when he stated Congress should wear jackets like NASCAR drivers. And guess what? The corruption will never change because they make the laws!

It should be 20 years max and then you're out and without your free healthcare for life and your salary. Same as Supreme Court justices. They're there way too long.

Not just a joke for the Democrats. I read one recently where some one says " Be careful if you go out and play in the back yard. I just let the dog out, and I don't want you to step in the Pelosi and track it back into the house" Same could be said about Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. Same could be said for anyone.

OK, I may be stupid, lazy and/or ignorant. But why in the H E double hockey sticks would anyone FIRST want to work in politics, and more importantly SECOND beyond the age of 65?? They all have a shit ton of money, so is it ego? Heck, everyday I work I try to bring down my retirement age closer to 60. i know it sounds crazy, but how about public service? but that would ascribe positive motives to human beings, and we can't do that, i guess?
