For the last week or so, I can't post pictures from a Google image search.
I'm doing the exact same thing I've always done, but when I right click on "copy" and try to insert image in the required field, it doesn't paste and comes up blank.
I've tried everything from "copy url" to "share", but nothing helps.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Look to see if the link contains https instead of http. If it does, remove the "s" and try it again. That's worked for me.

How can I tell? I used to able to tell when I pasted the link into the required field...I could see the link.
Now I can't paste anything into the field. It comes up blank.

Copy the link to notepad and take a look at it there. Instead of the right click, try using the keyboard shortcuts to see if that works for you:
Ctrl + c = copy
Ctrl + v = paste

I finally found Notepad and have to create an account to access it.
Posting pics shouldn't be this much of a pain in the ass. Everything was fine until about a week ago.

If it was problem with the "s", then the picture wouldn't come up when I try to post it, no?
I'd probably get an X instead.
I can't paste ANYTHING into the required field when I click on the "insert image icon".
Blank every time.

Didn't work for me either. I saw the text I was pasting though. Don't you need to use a site like photobucket or something first?

I would just click "copy" from a Google image search, hit "paste" and it was fine. Now it's not, no matter which picture I use.

Okay. Here's what I did: Google search for short-eared cat. Brought up Images. Left clicked on the image I wanted. Clicked on View Image. Copied the URL and removed the "s" from HTTPS before I posted it to this thread (copied it first to notepad to remove the "s". It's more steps, but it works.  |

Okay I just posted those two images straight from Google : In the first one I simply removed the s in https while it was in the image app, this one >  > and I did not need notepad. The second image is https one, so I didn't remove the s. I got both images to post. |

If you run on Windows, notepad should be there for you. There's no account required. Even so, you could remove the "s" after you copy the URL into the window provided by the picture icon at the top of the Reply box and before you hit Return. |

Are you using a mobile, by chance? I use either a PC or laptop, so I'm not real familiar with mobiles I'm afraid.
