JP Morgan announced today that from now on they will accept physical gold bullion as collateral. This is a sign of gold’s further remonetisation in the global financial and monetary system. It may signal that JP Morgan is having difficulty in securing gold bullion in volume. JP Morgan is the custodian for many of the gold and silver exchange traded funds. They will not accept ETF trust gold as collateral.

Given the current monetary, macroeconomic and geopolitical risk gold is an attractive alternative to debt, equities or other paper assets as collateral.

JP Morgans’s move shows how gold bullion’s fungiblity and tangibility as an asset makes it attractive and shows gold’s increasing importance in the financial system.

Silver prices remain in backwardation, showing that buyers are willing to pay a premium for silver delivered sooner rather than later.

Both gold and particularly silver are vulnerable to a short squeeze that propels prices beyond their recent record nominal highs. In the gold market that are some 80,000 short contracts which is more than 30% than the average short position in 2010.

The concentrated shorts who the CFTC has been investigating will be nervous and given the strong fundamentals in the bullion market may be forced to buy back their positions in order to protect themselves from significant losses.

Well AEKara back on old boards and Duff layed out a lot of the groundwork in metals. Max Kieser, Bob Chapman, and Mike Maloney all have shown why metals will go up. Silver in particular is a better buy than gold, but both are great investments.

When you look at the manipulation taking place, silver inventories at record lows, concentrated shorts by JP Morgan on the Comex, world problems, QE, inflation, unemployment, inflation hitting third world with revolts, China, and Russia investing in gold, with other nations like Germany holding on to their stockpile, and many others seeing it's value. Currency crisis, dollar devaluation, debt encircling the planet like never before.

Could keep going on and on. I would say it's a situation tipping point in markets. Communism fell, and looks like uber globalist capitalism might be going the same way. FTI, you have to see the trends, you have to look at the whole picture of this. This time it's different, not like before.

That's the mindset of most in metals right now, they don't see this going in a positive direction. Bailouts, debt up to our necks, social security, Medicare unfunded. What happens too even if DOW did stay at current levels for now, when all the baby boomer's that sunk their money into stocks come to retire and drain the markets of capital so they can live off that money?

Much change is going on, and much to watch.

I do agree market is going up, people are taking advantage of that, but when is the rug going to be pulled out from under them like in the housing market boom?

If I was in your shoes, I'd take a step back and look at all the data in which I disagreed with, and just hear them out. If you still didn't see the same conclusions, or wanted to adjust your portfolio, then that's it completely up to you and your assessment of the way things are going.

Moonbeam, this isn't about racism, this is about a perfectly good thread exposing metals fraud, tracking the prices, and where they are going.
