I do 25 sit ups every morning before I get out of bed. It's a routine now.

I very rarely eat after dinner. For my husband, the 8-9 pm snack is his downfall .

I have spent way too much time trying to come up with an answer for this, so I'm going with Swamp's "None. I suck".

The biggest one for me is that I worry about every thing. Constantly. Most that I worry about never happens = good habit because it is working!

LOL My great-grandmother was a huge worry wart, and when people would tell her 99% of that stuff you worry about is never going to happen, she would say the same thing. "SEE, it works!" She lived to just shy of 101 years old and was living on her own until just the last year or so, so the stress didn't kill her young anyhow.

Lol, you guys! It doesn't have to be anything big, just little life hacks. Like, I always put my keys in my right pocket, or hang them on the key hook at home. Very rarely lose them. Back when I might have put them in my purse, it was a disaster. (And, I always check for my keys before locking a door-- so it is like the constant worry thing. 😉

Floss religiously every night. I think I have missed twice in 20 years.
Exercise 4-5 times a week
I am a list maker, which keeps me pretty organized.
That is pretty much it. I definitely have more bad habits than good ones

I always leave my keys in the ignition. I never lose them, but not sure it's a good habit.

I work out every day. I donate platelets combined with either plasma or whole blood once a month. I finally have a good routine for keeping the house clean that doesn't take up a ton of time. (I divide the house into 6 sections, do one section 3 days a week, so that every 2 weeks, every room is cleaned from top to bottom.) I'm very good about my fancy dental routine which includes flossing, a WaterPik, a Sonicare brush and prescription toothpaste and a bite guard at night. The latter habit saves me time and money in the dentist's chair, so well worth it.
It's a lot easier for me, though- I'm retired and responsible to no one but myself.

A few good habits, nothing huge, though. I always start my day by chugging a huge glass of cold water. I wake up very thirsty! I also attach my keys to my purse with a carabiner so I don't lose them while I'm out. When I'm home I "always" hang them up in the same spot. I used to say I worked out every day, sigh. Not anymore. But soon I will be able to say I walk on the beach daily!

Well, I apparently do not experience "thirst" as a cue to drink water/liquid. I experience it as hunger or the feeling that "maybe I should eat something" OR "maybe I should eat MORE lunch/dinner/whatever".
So, I'm working on getting in the habit of having 8 ounces of water right when I get to work and then having another 8 ounces of water right after lunch and again after dinner.
I still drink coffee and diet soda and/or tea - I've just been adding in the extra liquid (water).
The 8 ounces of water when I get to work - has become a habit - and I've noticed I'm not jones-ing for a second breakfast at 10:00am - I'm also not as distracted while working because I'm not constantly thinking "I feel like maybe I should eat something..."
The 8 ounces of water after lunch/dinner is ALMOST a habit... when I do it - I do feel more satisfied by what I ate AND I don't get peckish or restless a few hours later and eat somemore.
I tried linking the feeling that I should eat something (when it's not a meal time) - with "I'm thirsty! I need to drink something!" but I was failing miserably at that.
So the good habit I would like to cultivate is to drink that glass of water AFTER every meal (or maybe before... but I'm too "food" focused before eating to slug down a glass of water).

Exercise daily
Walk 4/week
Cook most of our meals from scratch and include lots of vegetables every day
Lower stress through journaling or yoga

I drink a lot of water, always brush my teeth and wash my face before bed, read (almost) every day, and tell family I love them when ending a phone call.

I am very organised. Not something I developed, I just was born being organized about stuff.
Helps a ton because 90% of things in my home have a designated place -> leads to less mess left around -> leads to momma being happy.

In addition to some of the other medical issues I have, I was diagnosed this spring with Stage III adrenal insufficiency. I start out my days "okay" and by the time I get home from work I'm beyond exhausted. The only bright spot is that my doctor gave me permission to quit the gym for a while! (exercising hard only makes it worse - I can go back when I get better).
Because I (unfortunately) routinely come home from work and often land on the couch until bedtime , I consider it a Good Habit Win if I remember to take out my contact lenses between getting off the couch and hitting the bed
ETA: I DO start every morning with a glass of warm lemon water and meds. I do that pretty religiously.

Floss religiously every night. I think I have missed twice in 20 years. This one is impressive. My dog actually has better habits than me. After her last dental procedure, I was determined to brush her teeth daily. I paired the teeth brushing with a favorite dental chew. At the same time after dinner each night, I take the toothbrush, toothpaste and bag of dental treats from the same spot in my bathroom. After I brush her teeth she gets a dental treat. She ONLY gets this particular treat after her teeth are brushed, and ONLY after dinner. I started the program to help her accept teeth brushing regularly. Now SHE is the one reminding ME, she will not let me miss a night! Looks like I trained my own behavior!

I am punctual. I get up when the alarm rings, often before and never hit snooze. Being late gives me heart palpitations. When I am at work, I work the whole time I am there. I am being paid for that time and I make the best use of it. If I have nothing to do I leave. One of the perks of working for a small business. If I make a promise, I keep it. Anyone want to hear about the tattoo I have because I promised DD I would do it after a couple of drinks? Other than that, I'm a slacker with good intentions.

This would be a classic example from the book, and I'm trying to figure out how to train myself and possibly my kids sorta like this.

I never pass up the opportunity to pet a dog. Every dog I encounter gets petted (unless its human says it is not interested in making any new friends).

Neither do I! I make friends with every dog I meet. The pit owners say "Don't be scared, she's a good girl". Scared? I'm only scared that they will lick my lipstick off. Big, sloppy doggy kisses.
