I'm ok with what ugly people do in their homes too, but I don't want to picture it.

All of any group don't do any particular thing. That kind of scatter-shot put down is always wrong and it always draws fire. What one conservative might think about a given subject may be totally different than what another conservative might think about the same issue. The same is true of liberals. We'd do a lot better with these discussions if we'd avoid the broad brushes, IMO. Additionally, I'm convinced nobody here is a mind-reader. Not knowing any of these public figures personally, I'm sure I know next to nothing about their feelings, their families, or their inner thoughts. I don't think any of you do, either. All we can do is guess and ... well, I'd not want others shooting in the dark about my life. Would you?
