It's not (for me) that a particular candidate lost.  It's that someone with absolutely NO experience in politics & international relations won.  I fear for our country when an overly-confident newbie starts throwing his weight around.  All of us will suffer the consequences when he starts REALLY screwing up.  (A big concern I already have is how much we're paying for all of his weekends away from DC.  Don't even want to think what the total could be.  Financially responsible, indeed!)

I'm very concerned that there are people who think his word salad speeches are "refreshing."   I don't know about you, but I don't want someone who is barely literate running our country.  

I also don't want someone who is prone to temper trantrums, tweets his fleeting thoughts, and doesn't understand the concept of checks and balances in charge either.

Deminmaine seems like a pretty reasonable democrat, part of the old "blue dog" school of thought. I wish there were more democrats like him.

I am no expert on stocks, but based on P/E stocks are over valued right now, as they were when Obama left office. It's only gotten more so the last few weeks.  It has been a nice ride, but I wouldn't expect it to continue to climb much longer.  

I so wanted to like this post, but then I do not think the ride will end soon. Depends on whether he can get the tax changes made soon, imo
