I only heard about pizza gate here. No one of any remote intelligence believes it or would have ever admitted being that stupid to me anyway. I try to not hang around stupid people although it's getting harder to avoid them. They breed like rabbits it seems.

I don't know of anyone that voted for Trump that said the emails meant a thing to them. They just voted against hil plain and simple. Held their nose while doing so but no way would have voted for her. Dems have no one to blame for this loss but the DNC machine. The emails might not have meant anything to the Trump voters you knew. But I think it did mean something to some of them. 46% of Trump voters believed at the time this poll was taken that Pizzagate was true. Pedophilia is pretty socially unacceptable. If you believed it was true, I'd be surprised if you voted for Clinton anway.
today.yougov.com/news/2016/12/27/belief-conspiracies-largely-depends-political-iden/
On the other hand, nearly half of Trump supporters give at least some credence to the Pizzagate rumors. In contrast, 57% of Clinton voters say that is definitely not true (some, however, answered that it could be true),
if you think the average voter had any clue about the things you're talking about, you're delusional. Hillary is unlikeablr and her husband was responsible for opening up the floodgates for jobs to be exported. No surprise that a hostile stance towards outsourcing would swing the rust belt states.

It's just another excuse as to why she lost instead of facing the truth. Gets old, doesn't it?

Sorry state of the mental state of our citizens IMHO...and party affiliation has nothing to do with it...

That is the genius of the righties....we don't have to care what our guy did because your guy did it. Now we whined about what your team did over and over for eight years (and still are). But now that our team is doing it. Whatevs. Oh i learned that from the Left! Thanks for the lesson! Monkey see, monkey do?

And I work with a bunch of Trump supporting programmers and DBA's. I did, however hear about anti-trump protesters throwing bottles at the Trump rally and nobody getting arrested for it.

For awhile over 25% of REGISTERED REPUBLICANS believed Obama was the anti-Christ. It's hard to take that party seriously anymore.

I don't believe he was the anti christ. I do believe he does not and never did have anyone's interests but his own on his mind. But he was good at selling the gullibles just not the deplorables.

Where are you getting these polls from? Not to say there aren't stupid republicans voting since we certainly had stupid democrat ones, like the ones who thought obama was going to give them free everything! Or the ones who didn't even know his name for sure.

Agree but if true...46%...?sheeeet.... Yes, our schools have clearly failed to teach critical thinking. If you are referring to the inner city school systems controlled by the Democratic party and the teachers Union, you are correct.

Those schools don't even bother trying. It's free daycare. Sad that education has come to that.

Yes, trying to teach the value of an education to a group of people with no morals or work ethic, who don't even bother to feed or clothe their own children even when handed the resources to do so, is the goal of these poor teachers. Just keeping them in school before they turn out to be future baby mommas and criminals. I can't imagine a more painful job as a teacher.

Of course you are. Too bad it's not an insult anymore because it's so overused. There's another new one but I've forgotten it for the moment. Don't worry about it, it's as useless as the other insults.

And DT keeps saying that the Russians didn't hack any voting machines...no one, to my knowledge, ever said they did! It was influence peddling they were doing to get people to vote for DT rather than any other candidates, especially Hillary since they don't like her much...and maybe even fear her! The fear part is pure speculation on my part. Considering the blatant disregard for basic security that she and the Democrats have shown, I think it's perfectly rational to fear what will happen if we have 4 more years of her and her cronies having access to sensitive information, especially if you have a family member in the military. And there are plenty of hackers out there that don't like Donald Trump or the Republicans. It's not accident that their emails haven't been published. Do you honestly think that the Washington Post or any other left leaning rag would have passed up the chance to publish the Republican's dirty little secrets?

According to zibazinski it seems value fits that bill too....

Zib isn't saying she is a racist. She's just saying that the insult is so overused, nobody even bothers to defend themselves against it anymore. She's right. Anybody with half a working brain cell can see that. You and others throw the term around willy-nilly without even truly understanding what it means. That is exactly why it has no longer has any sting.
That's not a good thing but...well done....really.

According to zibazinski it seems value fits that bill too.... In the 80's, I was accused of being racist and a nazi for daring to suggest that welfare for life wasn't a good idea. It didn't matter that I hadn't mentioned race and that we both knew that there are just as many white people on welfare as any other race. This is how certain people on the left try to silence anyone who disagrees with them. And this is why charges of racism don't mean anything anymore. And it is too bad that the left has cried wolf too many times. Real racism is out there, and it hurts a lot of innocent people.
