This is almost exactly the deal I did this morning while I was out spanking Rite Aid, only I did it in two transactions and I didn't have the $4 off $20. Since it 'tracks' I bought several Afrin and Coricidin and one Colgate to make it over $30. Got $10 HH Ups, plus the others for Afrin, Coricidin, and Colgate. Then I bought three more Afrin/Coricidin and got another $10 Ups, plus all the others. I spent twenty-something existing Ups, plus about $5 cash for tax and got back $54 in Ups. Definitely a pile! Woohoo!

Here in SoCal, BBB allows us to use expired Qs. I always save them even when I don't need them, so that I can use them when needed. I used one from 2009 2 weeks ago. So if you have expired Qs, you can call the store and ask them.

mandy - yes they do, usually once a month or 2. have you checked the price of pillows at target? last week in the ad they were as little as $2 & i don't think that was an "advertised sale price" but their regular price. that way you can your BBB gc for something more expensive and personal.

I believe they are giving you two possible coupons to use. You can actually only use one or the other on one transaction.

See, that one is the same thing. You can use a $4/1 coupon found in the 12/26 P&G (but that one expires tomorrow), so if you don't get to WAGs to do the deal today or tomorrow - no worries; you can use the $4/1 that is coming out today!!

Yes, they do that all the time when posting scenarios so that you know the "value of the deal", but if you don't have any RRs going into it, your OOP will be higher. Does that make sense?

Mercee: Look at the quoted final price. She is saying that you can get to the final $1.99 using one or the other of those coupons, and taking into account the $4 RR you receive. You couldn't ever use two manufacturer's coupons on one item. I agree it's confusing that sometimes people list all the coupons like that.

Sorry about that. DH was trying to help me and the one jar of Vlassic pickles wasn't on sale. I got a $2.00 cat from the cheese and $1.50 from Kikkoman which I used to buy milk, bread and buns. Luckily, the store had everything in stock I wanted to get and it was a zoo in there this afternoon.

dancinmama: Thanks- oh sure I am still in the game. Doing very well actually. I can see that I will be able to save at least 50% on my grocery bill by watching the store sales and combining with coupons. Health, beauty, and household items should be seriously slashed with WAGS and CVS deals. I also visited quite a few of the 'dollar' stores and will be taking advantage of those and Aldi's. I need to get a grip on my 'rock bottom' prices of the things we use regularly.

For the past year or so I have been afraid to even enter a store- the prices were so high! I only shop for my college age son and myself but he can eat! I can see that it will take weekly effort but I am sure I will get a routine going.

I wish I had a RA- but it's fun to read about how well you all do there.

Walgreens coupon policy says they should mark the coupon down to the selling price of the item, but my experience is that they don't always know how to do that. They may hand the coupon back to you and say they can't take it, so be ready to push back a little.

I spent quite a bit more time out hounding than I had anticipated, but the good thing is that I don't have to drive across town to Rite Aid later today to finish up everything that I needed to do.

Well, my RA trip was extremely profitable today. I did the Hearth Healthy deal for DS and myself. I bought the Neuragen, AMO Complete, did the food deal for me, my mom, and DS.

I started out with $25 in UPs. I paid $9.15 in OOP for ALL of my transactions. I came home with $63 in UPs and will submit for $27.89 in rebates for me, DS, and my mom (total rebates = $83.67).

PROFIT: $112.52

The fact that a very good hounding buddy sent me (3) $10/1 Neuragen Qs helped immensely. Also I was able to get the $5 food bonus for me, DS, and my mom and the $30 in heart healthy bonus UPs ($20 for DS and $10 for me). All those things combined accounts for $75 of the profit.

I came home with Afrin, Coriciden, Colgate, Chex Mex, New York Bagel Crisps, Lays Stax, Dreyer's Ice Cream, Neuragen, and AMO Saline Solution.

misspt: Try this and see if it works. Boot down your computer and boot back up. Then when you get to the home page, just start watching videos without even trying to log in. I think it will ask you to log in or register. Then you can register. Let me know if that works, okay?

No Lays Stax or Stayfree yesterday so I'll have to go back for those.

At the couponer-friendly RA, they had no problem and no limit on the rain check for the free RA TP from two weeks ago. I don't think I even paid tax on it because they couldn't figure out how to ring it up as taxable, so those 10 were completely free!! That's nice because our tax is almost 10%.

I bought two containers of ice cream and I think I might take back the unopened container of Dryers/Edy's because I got the no sugar added ones, thinking that the calories were lower, but to me the one I opened tasted very noticeably of artificial sweetener.

The Afrin and Coricidin UPs are all fixed. You guys probably know that already.

I'm excited to hit the Vons/Safeway to look for cheap Rancher's Reserve meat. DF is a serious carnivore! Great scores, Suzi Q and Dancinmama!

Suzi and SaveinLA, Voskos Greek yogurt is free again at Ralphs/Kroger. It's on sale in the "healthy" ad for $1 for at least a few more days, maybe until the 2nd or the 8th, I can't remember. At HCW there is a printable for a 75c Q that doubles to $1! I like their yogurt a lot. I used to eat Yoplait but it gives me such a coughing fit now.

I hit 2 RA's today and had hubs stop and use a couple of Ups he had in his wallet to get more ice cream. The sugar free one is not as good as the low fat one. We started eating it when we were doing WW and loved the taste and texture and the low fat has better stats than the low sugar one....I think? We ended up with 7 ice creams, 12 Stax, 2*Afrin, 4*Dixie, 1*Quantum dishwasher thingy (free with 3.00 IP and 1.00VV) 1*Fusion. Paid about 5.00 in cash to cover taxes and minimal balances and still have 21.00 in Ups to roll the rest of the week.
We are storing ice cream in MIL's freezer.
