Hi herekittykitty!! Glad to see you!! I was just thinking about someone who hasn't been on the boards in a while and tries to check in after 1/7 only to find they're gone. What a shocker that will be!!

Just registered today. Glad to see so many reulars in all the forums.
I find this site MUCH more user friendly. Bundle appears to have as many/more drawbacks for me (with my VERY old computer & slow but CHEAP ISP) as the 'old' boards.
I have been BANNED from HCW.

jdnstl / Holly: Glad to see you both made it over.
Holly: What are "contremps"? Dhunny used to have a blog, but I don't know if she's kept it up with the new baby or not.

I'm reading both places, but it looks like posting is light for now. Must be the holidays.

Wants2Learn here Just an FYI - I have been on lefora for a weight loss/accountability site and lefora seems to have problems every month or so where you can't get onto the board.

FYI with WAGs shopping. Try and check out at the beauty counter - very important if you have anything from the beauty asiles (hair, makeup, shampoo, etc) as the beauty department gets docked (not sure how) if beauty sales go thought the regular register. Keep those cosmetic/beauty cashiers happy!

Dancin Some sort of argument. Don’t know if it was w/a mod or a member. Don’t know if she just pulled out or was banned. A couple of months after the baby she got back to her blog.
Optimist Posting is ALWAYS slow over holidays. We are VERY likely to pick up new followers when the holiday bills start arriving in Jan. Some stick & some do not.

Ok, thoughts wanted. I have 2 WAGs in my back yard and have been doing this for about 2.5 weeks now. loving it! I have a CVS about a 30-35 minute drive from me. How often do you CVSers hit your store in one week and is a 35 minute drive worth it if CVS is all I am hitting?

NAG
Geez, where is everyone? I was out getting a "new do" today and come back to check in and both boards are dead. Actually, there aren't a lot of great deals going on so there's not really a ton to talk about anyway.
I guess I'm as ready as I'm going to be for the holidays. Got my cards done yesterday and made some candy with DH this morning before my hair appt. All that's left to do is make some clam dip to take to DSis's and pack up the makings for sweet potato souflee which I will make at her home for our Christmas dinner.

I think the deals at CVS are too limited to make it worth your time and gas to travel that far to get them. Even if you DO have several cards, you never know what the stock is going to be like and if they would welcome anyone with (5) cards coming and doing all their transactions in one trip. Now that WAGs is offering rebates again (even if you have to mail them in individually), there seems to be a lot of opportunities to turn your RRs back into cash. If it were me, I would focus on WAGs and learning how to get the most product possible with as little OOP as possible.

hitenney, misspt, mawmaw, aleda: Glad to see you all again!!
WeWillBackGowron, Optimist4life, arkie, gawgagranny: Welcome aboard.
I know things are slow, but like Holly said, they'll probably pick up again after the holidays. In any case, the more participation we have, the better.

loving the colgate total deal at WAGS! on sale for $2.49, use the $1.00 off wags coupon in the diabetes and you book wrap, and use the $1.00 of mfg coupon IN the diabetes and you book (give mfg coupon first) and after tax it comes to $.63 oop AND you get a $1.50 rr. Looking forward to using my rr on the 2nd for the kids meds... can't remember what they are called. Thanks for the advice on CVS.
