It is kind of nice to have only 3 pages so far. We'll fix that in a hurry, LOL.

Wags - did the Everpure deal, bought two at $6.99 each (another town near me was selling for $7.49!) - used the $3 mfg loreal ip i printed from their site and the $2 wags coupon (took $2 off of each bottle) add added a hot wheels on to cover tax. I paid with $5 rr and wanted to pay with the $1.50 rr and take off the hot wheels as the total was like $2.60. She said it wouldn't work as I didn't have enough items because the mfg coupon covered both items. Would it have worked if I took the hot wheels off?? I should have pushed more or told her to try it as it isn't a store I will probably go to but oncea a year, but I didn't want to tick her off... sigh, i am too nice. lol

OK, love the name "pudgybunny"...it looks cute, sounds cute, and is even fun to type, although did you realize when you picked it that we have a tendency to shorten screen names??? ;-)
Dancin: remember the commercial (for Arby's?) years ago where the guy ran around yelling "where is everybody??! Where did everybody go??? That's what I pictured on January 7!

The party can begin----I HAVE ARRIVED!!! I don't post a whole lot anymore, but I don't know what I'd do without you all! You are like a second family---that UNDERSTANDS my obsession to stockpile and use coupons.
NAG--sorta
I bought a Wii recently. Used Target's ad at W-M to get it for $177 and then got a price adjustment Satuday to pay $199 BUT get a $75 GC (used that for extra remote and nunchuk and some groceries). Anyway, I LOVE that thing. I've done the Wii Sports every day since the 12th for at least 15 minutes. I've lost about 2.5 pounds! And that's with eating all kinds of junk. The only thing that's changed is moving more due to the Wii! How awesome is that?! Maybe I can really start losing after the 1st when I start watching what I eat.

My general experience at WAGs is that when I use a $/2 coupon, it only attaches to one item thus allowing me to use an extra RR in that transaction. The WAGs rule is that the NUMBER of mfg coupons (including RRs) cannot exceed the number of items. Any $/2 coupon is still ONE coupon even though it is supposed to cover two items. The cashiers at my WAGs don't care as long as the coupon doesn't beep. They don't even pay attention to a $/1 vs a $/2 coupon.

Hey, look who's here. It our own suziq!! Glad you finally made it over! I'm not wild about the format either, but it's probably just because it's different. I'm sure that we'll all get used to it. I'm just happy we have a place to share the latest and greatest info about the deals out there!!
Shelly: Glad to see that you made it over too.

I posted this on the other board, but thought I should mention it here too.
SWIFFER REFILLS AT CVS: Starting 12/26, CVS will have the Swiffer refills for $3.99 and there will be a $.50/1 MC in Sunday's P&G Brand Saver. This is the lowest price I've seen on these in months.
SWIFFER REFILL $.50/1 HOUND ALERT: Okay, I'll be the first one to post a hound alert. I want to stockpile the Swiffer Refill pads and am not sure how many inserts will be left when I go for my coupon roundup. It may be a ton because of the holiday or they may sell out because of the holiday. Anyway, if anyone will not be using their Qs, I may need some extras. I'll post a repeat hound alert on Sunday night/Monday morning.

Dancin I would guess you do not like the format here just because you are not used to it. Several other sites I visit use this/similar so I am quite the happy camper.

This week WAGs has several Reach products free after in-ad coupon and manufacturer's coupon. Buy three at one time (or more if your WAGs allows it, but the limit is three), have a filler cuz there will be $.01 overage on each item, and then give them the WAGs in-ad coupon. I am going to go today to see what I can get cuz my food pantry specifically requested hygiene items "like toothbrushes" when I dropped off a donation recently.

Hi all,
Long time lurker at the other boards and I was planning to start getting serious about couponing after the first of the year. SO GLAD I checked up on the old boards and found out about the move. Kind of nervous about getting started, don't really know how to begin...I just moved to a new place and don't even have a newpaper subscription. Any tips?
Thanks

Dancin: Which Swiffer do you use? Is it the one where you have to buy the liquid? Do you think it does a better job than a regular sponge mop?

I found my way over from the msn board. This will take some getting used to, but I think it'll work. I'm still here..mainly following and lurking, only because finances are really tight, like they are for everyone else. I'm trying to fix meals out of our freezer and pantry. Need to get it cleaned out. NAG: Shelley, I got my WIi for my 40th and LOVE IT!! Of course, I don't get to play it much with a 7-year old in the house who seems to think it belongs to him, but that's ok. We can share. Have you tried Wii Fit Plus yet? That's a lot of fun, too!! Especially standing on the balance board and having to flap your arms like a bird. Yeah.. It's a lot more fun after a couple glasses of wine...:-) My 6-year old loves the yoga on there. :-) Wonder if our "buddy" axel will find the way here. (Our friendly "troll", I think?)

missourimommy: Glad you found your way over here.
NEW LAPTOP FOR XMAS: DH is INSISTING that he get me a new laptop for Christmas. It will be another Toshiba (love the one I have), but it will be A LOT more powerful so that I can have a cazillion windows open and not have problems with it chugging along.
Often when I am on the boards I find it convenient to have several windows open at the same time so that I can verify information before passing it on either to answer a question or when posting a deal (coupon database, frugalsuz's blog as well as MFA and centsableshoppin, the iheart sites, etc.). I really TRY to double check for accuracy before I post. Unfortunately my computer only has 2G of memory so having so many windows open at one time really makes it run less efficiently (or so says DH).
I told DH that I didn't really NEED a new computer, but DS needs one so I will give him the one that I'm using now so I guess it will be good for all.

Hello everyone! I'm a lurker and followed the crowd. I promise to contribute and participate over here. I've been couponing for a couple of years now and need to ramp it up in 2011.

mandyms, Welcome to the grocery challenge thread. To get started, you need to get some coupons somehow. This Sunday will only have one flier, The Procter and Gamble (P&G) flier (pages of coupons). Try to get one by looking in your or another friend or relative's Sunday newspaper.
Check out some websites:
