carlinagirl: You're NOT a dork!! Why the slink? Most IPs allow you to pint (2) copies so your post is still valid. And even if it wasn't, guess what? We've ALL posted deals and then realize that our thinking was off. Don't be afraid to post a deal. If it's not what you thought it was, just go back and edit it - no big deal!!

Dancin, THANK YOU!!! You must have been inside our garage fridge to notice we were out of Lunchables! GASP!!! What is the world coming to that we would be out of those?? Just kidding!! My kids have been doing really well with Peanut Butter and Jelly. But, with school getting ready to start on Tuesday, it looks like I need to make a Target run. Did they change their printable coupon policy--does anyone know off the top of their head? I tried to print 2 but it only let me print one. Not that I can't make one work, I just thought I'd print 2 if I could. Geez, what happened to the days when Target IPs were unlimited?  |

Well it's been quite a while since my last visit to the GC ironic that I make a resolution to coupon/hound hardcore again in 2011 and the GC has moved. Sort of a sad day since it was filled with so much knowledge. Not sure how many alums are left but if you are thanks for getting me through my newbie phase so many years ago (Jennysmom/SuziQ/FreeSalsa/lbmoore). I used to be AJ440/coupongirlaj but I'm married now so I'm CouponGreenGirl now and MrsG in the blog world. Keep up the great work ladies! I'll be watching for the deals with you. carolinagirl: My post was an inside joke and since you have no clue, I'll let you in on it. It will give you a hint of an idea at how we all will go out of our way, bend over backward, do almost anything short of selling our first born to help one another out.
Not that long ago, there was an internet printable coupon for All Laundry Detergent and I put out a HOUND ALERT on the board for it. hatoo saw my hound alert and said that she get them right out to me. I think she was at work at the time and didn't really read my HOUND ALERT closely. Instead of reading that I wanted the All (laundry detergent IP), she read that I wanted ALL the IPs which she proceeded to print and send to me.
You should have seen the packet I received in the mail. It was a big, thick, manila envie filled with 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper with IP after IP after IP. It wasn't long before she realized her mistake but it was too late - they were already in the mail. I felt so bad - the time, the cost of postage, oh my; I kidded her about that one for months!!

I'm pretty excited - I did my first couponing trip to rite-aid. I feel like a got a great deal because most of my list were things I needed immediately.
I spent 23.22 out of pocket and got
2 boxes of kleenex
2 bags of halls cough drops
2 bottles of palmolive
2 36 ct boxes of playtex
1 bottle naturemade multi vit 60 ct
1 bottle naturemade fish oil 60 ct
My wellness savings were 17.99, coupon savings were 15.49 and $2 in UP rewards. Plus I am at 36.73 towards the $100 I need for a $20 reward. ;D
Does anyone have a spreadsheet they'd be willing to share that tracks these types of things? Thanks for all the help!

Arkie:I can twist and hold, it's just the sheer amount of yoga, by the time you get to the balance postures (the one-leg table), I am ready to fall to the floor. I love the challenge, though. Today is the brutal 17 minute ab workout with back and arms, I think.  , good luck with it! ;D |

CVS question: Anyone wanna venture a guess how the math would turn out on this?
The Wisk is $5. Spend $25, get $10 EB's. I happen to have, in my hot little coupon holder, a CVS raincheck for Wisk, BOGO. They did not write a price in, just BOGO. The quantity says "2" but I may be able to argue with them, or sweetly persuade them, that 2 means 2 BOGO deals, not 2 bottles. Then using the $2/1 Q's? Hmmm, my head is spinning. I guess they would only take off $5 for the BOGO, right? Especially since the price wasn't written in...So, I MIGHT be able to get 5 bottles, $25, minus $10 (two BOGO offers), minus $10 (5 $2/1 coupons). I would only pay $5 and get $10 EB back, right?!
Guess I'll be heading out to buy more papers tonight if the store doesn't have any inserts for me!

Constanz: I had the unfortunate experience at Rite Aid today when I bought the office supplies supposedly generating UPs. I used my 4/20 Q, $4.00 Gas X Q and $12.00 in UPs. This scenario did not produce the UPs and I don't know why, but I told the cashier I wanted to return them. It took over a half hour. She had to ring them up one by one and get the manager to punch in a button each time (20 times). When it was all over, I got a $16.00 giftcard and $20.00. I went out to the car to look over the math and told my sis it wasn't right. I went back in and returned the $20.00 for which I was thanked. They took my name and number in case they owe me money after auditing their drawer. I think I should've gotten back $4.00 more from the GasX Q as Rite Aid will be getting reimbursed for it. This wasn't my usual store and the clerk put the Q's in the cash register right away. At my other store, they set them aside until the transaction is done. I did a small transaction at my hometown Rite Aid with the folders and it worked so I thought I'd do it at this other store. It wasn't programmed in their system. They did apologize to me but it was a big PITA.

Not that I can't make one work, I just thought I'd print 2 if I could. MM, I have noticed that sometimes the Target system only allows one print, rather than two. There is a way around Target's limits though - you can set up multiple profiles on your computer. One for your hubby, your kids, or maybe just a few for yourself. I have 8. Just log off yourself, then log onto another profile and it will let you print the limit again from the same computer. Wish we could do the same thing with Bricks coupons!! |

I spent the day clippin and sorting and trying to make a plan for this week. Feels great to be excited about hounding again.
