The $2.25 Finish coupon is back!!! I just bought 40 on eBay to get me & my mom stocked up for the year on dish detergent At CVS 1/9, it will end up being a huge MM deal: 7 boxes of Finish = $21 -7 coupons = $5.25 4/20 (saving this for the deal!) = $1.25 And get back $10 EB!! That makes it a $8.75 MM. I am so stinkin happy about this deal Going to max it out on both of my cards, and maybe even my sister's (she does not have a dishwasher). Sam, thanks for posting this! I'm trying to get back into the CVS game after almost a year off. Sent some Karma your way!

Dancin do you know what the deal is? I cannot seem to find it I'm assuming that you want the Sinex? $20.00 (4) Sinex @ $5.00 ea. - 16.00 (4) $4/1 MCs (12/26 P&G) 4.00 OOP --> $10RR (when you buy $20 worth) It's posted on iheartwags under January monthly RR deals. Thank you, I would like to do this deal several times!!

I'm hoping to get enough Q's to do the deal on my card and DH's card. BTW, can you refresh my memory on madcoupons? I think DH is giving up his paper route soon, which means no more extra inserts for me!

Why I buy coupons: My state has only one main set of inserts. The coastal papers get the pet food and huggies coupons, but I have to drive 15 minutes to a not-so-great part of town to get them. Otherwise, there is no difference in the coupons for the 3 metro papers in our state. I usually get 1-2 sets of our coupons from a friend and then buy the rest from madcoupons, b/c I subscribe to the monthly service and I usually get the inserts by Tuesday. Today, I bought 2 sets of papers and these are the coupons that we get (LOCC): SS (only 1): $1/1 Carnation Breakfast $3/1 Boost .60/2 V8 juice .50/1 V8 lower sodium juice .35/3 Chef Boyardee 1.50/1 Glucerna .60/3 hunt's pudding $1/1 Energizer batteries $1/1 Ziploc big bags/totes $1/1 Lysol spray $1/2 lysol wipes $1/2 toilet bowl cleaners (lysol) $1/2 lysol bathroom cleaner $1/2 Lysol pourable cleaners $1/2 Lysol All Purpose cleaners triggers, or kitchen $2/2 Malt-o-Meal Cereals .75/1 colgate max white, max fresh, sensitive .50/1 any colgate BOGO airwick warmer unit WYB scented oil fragrance refill BOGO Airwick freshmatic refill $4/1 air wick freshmatic ultra starter kit $1/1 Airwick scented oil twin refill pack or 2 single refills $3/1 Airwick compace i-motion starter kit $1/1 Blink tears $1/1 12 oz or larger Complete multi purpose solution $1/1 complete blink-n-clean $1.50/1 Tena product $5/1 hydroxycut $1/1 Sargento Fridge pack .50/1 Sargento Natural cheese pack $1/1 Tyson frozen grilled & ready fillets $1/1 Tyson frozen grilled & ready strips $1/2 Tyson frozen grilled & ready strips NO OTHER SMARTSOURCE IN OUR PAPERS Redplum #1 $3/1 slimshots $3/1 i-flex $1/1 goodlife recipe food for cats $1/1 Pedigree Goodbites Redplum #2 $2/1 L'Oreal Cosmetic Face Product $5/2 L'Oreal Cosmetic Face Products $1/1 EverSleek, EverPure or EverStrong Shampoo $1/1 Eversleek, EverPure or EverStrong Treatment $2/1 L'Oreal Skincare product $1/1 L'Oreal Root Rescue $2/1 L'Oreal haircolor $1/1 Jimmy Dean D-lights sandwich .55/1 Jimmy Dean d-lights bowls $1/1 Sensodyne ProNamel toothpaste .75/1 Sensodyne (any) $1/1 Goody's 16ct. headache powder $1/1 BC 18 ct headaceh powder General Mills: .40/1 Fiber One chewy bars .50 Fiber one yogurt .40/6 yoplait cup yogurt .50/8 yoplait cup yogurt .75/2 gogurt, yoplait trix .50/1 splitz yogurt .75/2 nature valley granola bars or clusters $1/3 GM cereals .50/1 yoplus yogurt pack .60/2 yoplait greek yogurt .50/1 yoplait delights $1/1 yoplait frozen smoothie $1/4 progresso .50/2 betty crocker fruit snacks .75/2 frozen pillsbury grands .40/2 pillsbury sweet rolls .40/2 crescent rolls .30/2 grands refrigerated biscuits $1/2 cookie dough .40/2 italian meal breads .50/2 pillsbury toaster strudel $1.50/1 Romano's macaroni grill $1.50/1 Wanchai ferry .60/3 GG frozen boxed vegetables .75/2 hamburger helper .50/2 chex mix $1/2 Romano's mac grill, wanchai ferry, or good earth rest. favorites .50/2 GG fresh steamers That's it for my area's coupons on the "best coupon day of the year." That's why I buy my coupons, b/c I can't get the better coupons from anyone in my rural area. MissPT sounds like most of the papers around here The paper from KY 30 miles from me has 70 coupons. It did have two SS, but the two RPs only had 9 coupons between them! Why bother doing two inserts for 9 Qs? The inserts in the other KY paper from 90 miles away has 90 coupons just in the 2 RPs and one SS! The bad part is that I have to get to the store before 9 AM in order to get the good ones. We are on the outer edge of delivery so the stores don't get many. Forget about trying to get the leftover coupons.....there aren't any! I did a good deed today...gave the CVS cashier 5 Wisk Qs that I had extra of. I bought 5 on my card, but will have to wait to get them on DBF's card. They only had 8 of the regular kind left in the store. The cashier was so happy to get the Qs, she gave me one for the GE bulb! I LOVE my CVS!!!

Hi Ladies! I used to post a few years ago on the old grocery challenge. I followed you all over to the new boards, and decided to pop out of lurker status to say Hi and thanks for posting all your great deals! Is anyone else doing the Wisk deal at CVS this week? I'm trying to stock up on HE detergent for my front load washer that I'll be getting when I move into my new home in a few weeks. $1 a bottle seems like a good price: Buy 5 Wisk @ $5 each = $25 Use 5 $2 Q (1/2 RP) = $15 Get 10 EB wyb $25 = $5 after EB I'm seriously hoping for a $5/$25 this week to make it free after EB, and praying that my stores have the HE "flavor" in stock! triciag: WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME BACK to the Grocery Challenge from me - dancinmama!! I actually remember you screen name, but don't know if it was from the GC or another thread. ANYWHOO, I like $1/bottle especially if I have excess EBs or a $/$$ to absorb a lot of the OOP. IF, IF, IF they don't have the HE in stock (but carry it), don't forget to get a rain check OR two (I'm kind of a rain check nut). I, myself, stockpiled All doing the exact same thing that you are doing at CVS. TIP: You CAN use non HE detergent in an HE washer - you just use less than what they tell you to put in. I do it all the time and my clothes come out just fine.

If I get a shitpile of inserts (unlikely, but if I do), I'll probably have some Finish that I can send your way too!!

FREE ATHENOS GREEK YOGURT AT SAFEWAY: On sale for $.99. There is a $2/1 IP and you can print (2). You can find the link for the IP on myfrugaladventures.com. I think the Safeway deals are currently on the second page. Don't forget to buy something else to absorb the overage.

Redplum Q for EggBeaters. My husband eats this and boy, is it expensive. If anyone could send me Qs I would be happy to pass along any other Qs. Email me at boyette52 at hotmail dot com. Thanks. I just typed a paragraph about getting the reindeer ornaments at CVS yesterday and don't know where it went. Anyway, I had been wanting them and since I had a $5/$25 and then the red box gave me a $3.50 and I DID find all 9, well, just had to go for it! I also got Dawn for free. I sent you an email. I only have 2, so let me know what else you can use!

triciag and carolinagirl: you use half the amount of regular detergent in an HE washer. I use regular liquid detergent in my front loader all the time, no problems....

shelly: That sounds just like my area in regard to coupons....
triciag: madcoupons.net is her website. She sells 10 sets of inserts per weekends for 10.50 each week, she usually gets the majority of the coupons, with the exception of the weekends where there is only a P&G and she has yet to get a general mills insert.... It generally works very well to get a monthly subscription, as you are guaranteed to get the inserts and get them faster than ordering week by week. HTH

Good morning ladies,
Does anyone know what to do with about a box not having a proof-of-purchase/barcode on it for the receipt? It's a JCPenney rebate from COOKS for a non-stick griddle. I was so excited about getting the $10 rebate; I have the rebate form and the rebate receipt, but they also want the barcode. It is NOT on that darned box!
Thanks for your help!

Did they scan the bar code when you bought it, or did they have to type in the price and description? If it scanned, there has to be a bar code somewhere!

I'd call both JCPenney AND COOKS (I know it's a PITA) and go from there.

Is it ok to use HE detergent in a regular washer? I accidentally picked up 2 bottles last time Wisk was free/cheap at CVS and kind of set them aside to use last...

dh saw some of my coupons (for things we don't need) but they are money makers and he got upset. I am new to couponing (WAGS is my only close store) and he watched some of Extreme couponing and was shocked at how good of deals they got and was impressed. he is against buying something if you don't need it, while I agree on that I know this is a money maker. ugh.

I am SURE there is, and if so, it's a win/win. You get the MM, they get the product, and if you itemize on your tax return, you'll also get a tax deduction. Just curious - what's the product?

OMG, I can't believe what DH just said to me!!
We used a $25/$250 coupon at Lowes for a power washer that DH needed. We also had a $10/$50. When he was at Lowes getting the power washer he TRIED to get them to stack the two coupons, but it was a no-go.
So today DH tells me that he needs to fill both of our propane tanks for the gas barbecue. He says, "Hey, I wonder if Lowes does a tank exchange so that I can use that $10/$50?" So he gets on the phone and calls Lowes. He gets off the phone and says, "Well, the good news is that they do do a tank exchange, but the bad news is that it doesn't get me to the $50 I need to use the coupon." Then he says, "So what do I need to do? ADD A FILLER?" Ha ha ha!! So we strategized on a good filler and he'll be running over to Lowes in a little while to use HIS coupon.
