Be prepared according to TV Guide they are ramping up the marital discord in the final 2 episodes of the season relating to her touring with the band and his drinking.
BTW I really loved the song that William was suppose to have written back in the day. Great episode and yes I cried when he died.

just watched last night's episode, was actually surprised it was already available tonight. that hasn't always been the case.
um.....wow. I love how Randall dropped the mic, and I hate what's coming next week for Jack. I do love how Randall came outside to hug Kate and that he told her about his dream where William and Jack met.
so many tears....always.

I can't believe we will actually find out how Jack died.
Am I the only one who wants Kevin to do the movie and keep dating his ex-wife??

not at all, but I don't think she would go to LA with him.... she is way more firmly established and stable where she is, and doesn't seem totally sure of where this is all going.
and I am not looking forward to this epic drunk driving crash that has to be what's coming. I do love how and that he did push that other bitch away at the bar. not that it changes the end result of the night, but still. I <heart> Jack. and this show....gah.

I keep thinking that it won't be drunken crash - I think it's too obvious of a story line.
Also, I think that was the reason they broke up last time, right? Kevin went to LA to do his show and now it's happening all over again.

I thought they broke up last time before he cheated on her. Granted, she was on the East Coast and he was on the West Coast, but it was because he cheated ultimately. With Jack's death, I had heard we really won't know until the middle of the 2nd season. I just get the feeling they won't tell us know. I love this show! I'm disappointment the season finale is on Tuesday, then we have to wait until September (I'm guessing) for new episodes. I hope the show doesn't look lose it's way in the 2nd and 3rd seasons.

Kevin and Sophie were still married when he cheated on her. I believe he went to LA to pursue his acting career, and he cheated on her while out there. That's why they divorced.
Season finale was okay. Not great, just okay. I did like to see how Jack and Rebecca met. They are building up to Jack's death, but now I'm just feeling strung along!
I liked the previous week's episode better - the fun-eral.

Yes, the season finale was not the best episode ever but I was happy I didn't need the box of kleenex that was beside me.
I am really going to miss this show over the next few months. Hmmm...I wonder if all the episodes are still on Hulu. Maybe I will re-watch them all.

Yes, all the episodes are on Hulu.
They are also On Demand with our cable provider. My mom has been watching them over the past couple of days.
I'm glad the season finale wasn't the usual cliffhanger. I liked the episode. I didn't love it though. I was in pins and needles during some it - I was just hoping Jack didn't rob the bar.

I normally watch this show a week behind on demand but Bull wasn't on Tues so I watched the finale. I was very underwhelmed and based on the FB post a lot of people felt that way. It was really slow and boring for the most part and really wasn't finale worthy. The only really good part was the last 5 minutes with Jack's speech intertwined with the current day characters. This was more of a mid season type episode. I wasn't expecting to learn how Jack died because they had already said it wouldn't be revealed this season but I really expected more in a finale. I think the Memphis and FUNeral episode should have been the finales. JMHO

I also think that the Memphis episode would've been a better finale. I'm a little torn about the thing with Jack's death. I mean, we know he died and we know around the time frame that it happened. So what are they going to do? Given the fact that Jack is one of the most popular characters on the show, it's not like they would write him off. So after they kill him off, are they just going to keep showing flashbacks with him in it (prior to his death)?
They should've just had Rebecca be the one that was killed off, would've made things easier.
They'll need to bring more characters into this show though, because Kevin/Kate aren't cutting it and Jack and William are not around anymore.

I didn't have a problem with the finale but I guess I'd rather that it isn't some giant tease anyway.

Interesting comments. I actually thought the finale was pretty good. Kind of took us to the "beginning", didn't leave any cliff hangers.
And yes, I would rather it was Rebecca that died first, but that's bc I just really don't like her character. Full disclosure - I very rarely like females characters. And so far on this show I only like Randal's wife.
Oh and I wouldn't have liked Memphis episode as a finale. But that's bc while I thought William was OK, I don't know why they were making him into this "wise old sick" man thing.

I loved William and wish his character had stuck around a little longer. I don't really get the "wise old sick" man comment...is he not allowed to be wise for some reason? He lived a lot of years, made some mistakes, changed his life, etc. Seems like he would be pretty wise to me.
I wonder if Miguel's character is going to have a larger role next season. I am fairly indifferent toward him at this point.

I am not really getting why she rubs people the wrong way. She's kind of Type A and frustrated. Also Jack is so nice that it makes her seem annoying. I get it but I personally don't find her too annoying.

Based on his apartment and other things, it didn't seem like had a job and basically just "wandered" through life. And now they are making him this wise sickly man and completely ignoring all other parts. I don't like that. They make his character too one sided.

I thought Randall was still fairly young when William got clean? That is one reason why Rebecca kept William away from Randall, because she was intimidated by the fact he was so much better. If that is the case then he was probably clean longer than he was a drug addict. Of course, it is just a TV show but it seems like a lot of people on the show irk you so I wonder why you watch it

When Rebecca was apologizing to Randall she said when she first met William he was a mess but a couple years later when she saw him again he was so much better.

I like Randal and his wife and Kevin and Toby and Jack. And Miguel grew on me after his conversation with kevin. I did like William, it just didn't add up for me - his past and his current "wiseness". I don't think they did a good job making the transition for a junkie to this wise old man. Kate is OK. I can understand her. So, yep, just Rebecca irks me. Can I continue watching the show ?

The timeline has been all over the place - first Rebecca is in labor and those babies are 35 years old. Then the babies are 35 and 8 at the same time. Then the babies aren't even conceived yet, but are still adults, and then they are 15, and then 9, and then Rebecca is pregnant with said babies. Guess what, they are 15 again, but then their parents haven't even met yet. Why would they suddenly take a strict approach the time line and never go back to a time when Jack was alive? We already know he is dead and they are still doing flashbacks all the way back to Nixon administration - why would showing us the details of his death change that?

He was when his mom died/Randall was a baby. But then a few years later when Rebecca went back to see him again, he was clean. And I believe that is the same apartment that his mother lived/died in, and he just stayed there. So maybe he could have afforded a better place, but he just didn't want to leave that one.

I think the reason Kate blames herself for Jack's death is that Jack died trying to save her dog in the fire after everyone was safe.

Ive given up on this dumb soap opera. Too melodramatic, and I ceased caring about any of these pathetic characters.

I think the reason Kate blames herself for Jack's death is that Jack died trying to save her dog in the fire after everyone was safe. The clues are pointing that way, but I think there's going to be a twist. Like, Jack goes back in to save the dog and you think he's going to die, but he comes out fine. Then they take everyone to the hospital to get checked and he ends up having a heart attack or something.

I think he went back in for Kevin because he didn't know Kevin wasn't coming home. But the family doesn't talk about the details after his death so kate is left thinking it was for her dog, Kevin thinks it was for him, and Rebecca is upset because she forgot the smoke detector batteries at the mall a couple episodes ago.
I'm also intrigues by the fact that the next episode airs after the super bowl which is the time of the fire.
