The hilarious thing is that no one here would be doing what they do career-wise if it wasn't for teachers. I can safely say that no accountants helped me get my HS diploma. Accountants haven't helped anyone do anything, ever. You're surprised?

Accountants are the ones that cut the paychecks.
You don't need an accounting degree to cut checks.

OK, didn't read the thread, so if you guys moved on - come back to OP for a minute. My kids all take swimming and I want to thank two of their teachers. One is a Senior in High School and this is her last semester teaching - she is going off to college. Another one will be back in Sept. What would you give a teacher/high school kid

Lol! Another cry me a river thread. I heard all this pity party shit from teachers the entire time I went to school. If it's so damn bad, change professions. There is a reason upwards of 40-50% do within 5 years.
