Eagerly awaiting the new season. A friend hooked me up with the first season. I'm debating adding Starz to my Prime membership this year because I don't know if I want to wait.

ME ME ME!!!!! I the tv show. And yes I was waiting for this Saturday's premier episode . I love the series...and Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser is HOT Serioulsy, I cant get enough of that guy. I really enjoyed the Season 2 premier, loved the way they started with Claire being back in modern world and then taking us back to France...And loved me some Tobias Menzies acting as the torn husband who is try to be understanding and compassionate to a wife who is so obviously in love with another.

Love LOVE the books! Is the show a good representation? So far, yes. It's Season 2 and they've just arrived in France to try to stop the Jacobite Rebellion. I think the scenery, costuming and casting/acting has all been everything I could have hoped for! You can watch on Amazon video (it costs) if you don't want to subscribe to Starz on cable. If you have Amazon Prime, you can get Starz as an add on Subscription for $8.99 per month.

I watched the first episode, I'm intrigued. One thing that made me laugh is her 1940s hair, it looked similar to my hair when I wake up in the morning. I should have been born at a time when wavy frizz was acceptable.

Ok swasat, I saw the wedding episode last night.
WTF is wrong with Dougal? Sometimes he's great like the previous episode where she ran into Randall again but man he needs to stop constantly coming onto her. Was he drunk again? I think he needs another blow to the head.

Last night I saw the episode where Jamie reprimanded Claire with his belt . I was really hoping that he was joking the whole time he was talking about it.

I am almost there, maybe I can catch up to you guys by the end of the weekend. I only have one episode left in S1, though I'm kind of not super enthused to watch it given what will obviously be happening.
Another WTF Dougal moment when he told Claire she has to marry him for protection. I really hope her back up plan if Jamie dies is to just haul ass back to the stones.

Here is a question ... in the first episode of season 2 when Claire is back with Frank, she isn't visibly pregnant. Now in episode 4, she is. So what is going on? When she went back to 1948 was that a 2nd pregnancy? Did she portal back in time when she got off the plane in Boston? I didn't think so, I thought we were just viewing some of her memories. This part makes no sense to me.

This part makes no sense to me. It is a second pregnancy. It's less confusing in the books because how far along she is when she returns is never discussed. Although now that you mention it, it annoys me because reading it I'd always imagined her heavily pregnant.
Anyone else find Claire aggravatingly meddlesome in this ep/season/book? She drives me crazy in her quest to preserve the lineage.

I am finding Claire really annoying. I can't believe she asked Jamie for "a year". WTF?! If she would stop screwing around trying to place everyone just right things would work out. I actually don't like France at all. I just want them to go back to Scotland and cuddle under a blanket or something.

We saw the movie Money Monster tonight and thought that Caitriona Balfe did an excellent job in it! (George Clooney and Julia Roberts were excellent, as well ... and Jodie Foster did a bang up job directing. For once, the movie was better than the trailer!)

Well, that must have been very satisfying for Jamie. With all of Claire's medical knowledge, she should really know that blood isn't a good sign .

Yes. I enjoyed the costumes and court from France, but I prefer Scotland .... at least for now. (I've read all the books)
