I have no interest in shopping. I now buy as much as possible from places like Amazon.
I'm not good with decorating or much of any domestic.
I can't figure out who is ahead in a car race so I don't watch NASCAR.
However, I love college basketball.
I still love rock concerts. I am trying to see performers I haven't seen before, but didn't totally succeed with that for this summer. I am only seeing one performer that I have seen too many times.

Whistling. One of the very few things in life that make me feel rage .

Look: we have members obsessing over the proper hanging of toilet paper, food touching on their plates, dog buttholes, sitting with their back to the door, their kneecaps being touched, jello, ball pits, belly buttons, sharp noises, styrofoam, and swallowing. Members who love chopping down trees, who hear colours, who feed cheeseburgers to bats, and yes, who massage prolapsed mouse penises. My aversion to commercials and video ads is downright normal and rational by comparison. I'm a small slice of the fruitcake here. Just sayin'. Whistling. One of the very few things in life that make me feel rage . It would actually be weirder to find somebody who likes the sound of others whistling. It's very rare to find a whistler who does it well (on key, etc.) and rarer still to come across one in a context where the sound isn't disruptive.

I've gotten really paranoid about allowing records to be created that contain unnecessary information...even necessary information. Everything gets entered in electronic form, sold, harvested by data-mining companies that draw conclusions you have no idea they could come up with from the fact that you bought 3 lemons, a banana and package of spaghetti. And even records that aren't being actively sold are still vulnerable to hacking *coughOPMcough* Any time I use my credit card I do a quick mental review of how much I care that the CC company knows what I'm buying, and that the store can attach a name to the purchase and keep their own records of what I buy (after the NYTimes Target expose I tend to do most of my pregnancy/baby/kid related shopping in person and for cash). I also want to prepay DS' college tuition, but I'm procrastinating because I aggressively limit disclosure of his SSN. Even his 529 plan has DH listed as beneficiary for this reason. Fighting a losing battle, I know
