Well, that's sweet. I don't mind if you mention my name. I think it's unreasonable and a bit paranoid to expect that you don't as no harm would be intended by your comment. But? I don't make the rules.
If I did, this world would be a way more fun place.

I posted something about money on politics, but thought it would be more interesting to discuss with people here. I deleted it there, but got to thinking that it would be moved from here. I miss having discussions of the economy and macro money topics with the people on the money board. On the old ym board, at msn, I used to start threads about ceo's and the economy and similar.

My granddaughter had her birthday party for her friends friday night. Today is her party for the family. I am not going to be there because I stayed in KC to work yesterday. I paid off one of my credit cards just a few minutes ago, so working more is accomplishing things I want. I guess it is a tradeoff. None of my grandkids seem like little girls anymore They still like to get ice cream, I guess you never outgrow that I think I will see them next weekend.

Looks like a razorback to me! I have a dumb question. We don't have wild hogs up here, but I hear about how they are a major nuisance in a lot of places, tearing up lawns, ruining things, etc. I think even in Tennessee, but certainly in more southern areas.
Aren't they good to eat? I am wondering why they can't be controlled with a good hunting season, or even a year round open season. They are mostly nocturnal, and quite tough to hunt is my understanding. We don't have them locally, but they aren't very far away. They are quite invasive and destructive. I've heard conflicting reports on the edibility of them. I've never tried one.

My uncle took one of those metal hay bale rings and rigged up a trap. He caught 16 at one time.

My oldest son is a junior in high school, and is on the baseball team. He hit his first home run today. He was very excited and rightfully so. So far, he has an era of 2.10, and a batting average of .412. No errors for the year. If he'd forget about that pretty, giggly little girl he's always chasing around, he could make a go of this sport. He has an amazing knuckleball. A man once told me that when a teenage boy gets a whiff of perfume and gasoline, the jig is up. That's about where he is right now I'm afraid.

We are not allowed to start threads on the money board or off topic board about the economy. That is a kind of hit and miss rule, but I hate when threads I start get moved, so dont start those threads. I would like to talk about the economy without it turning into a blame Bush or blame Obama thread.
I get my feelings hurt or get mad way too easily, but some people are just jerks so I learned not to ask anything that I am sensitive about. I liked TD's rule of debate the post not the poster, though he often used that rule against me.

If there are certain posters who you can't see eye to eye with, use that ignore function. Don't let them stop you from posting the things you want to discuss that are important to you.
