I can't even think of anything I want. Well, that's not totally true. I want a puppy. I will not be getting myself a puppy. Get the kids a puppy then you can play with it and tell them they need to feed it, walk it and clean up after it.

I've spent a lot, but I got everything at 40% to 50% off and everything was badly needed. I've started buying my clothes at Costco cause damn the prices are fabulous. I'm really happy with everything, I should not have waited so many years though to do this.

And the buying continues!!!
In addition to my aforementioned purchases, I have now bought myself some sweaters, yankee candles, a detailing package for my car, and a top and capri length workout pants form under armour. I feel like I'm forgetting something else. This time of year is bad for me!
Has anyone else continued on their spending frenzy?

I bought a large wall clock of the house. It was super cute, and 50% off. We didn't have a clock in the living room and I'm tired of everyone asking what time it is. It's wrapped and under the tree. I didn't put a tag on it, and DS has already noticed/ snooped under the tree for which gifts are his.

Clothes buying continues. This baby is growing too quickly! I've also purchased some cookware for DH for x-mas. It kind of feels like a gift for me since he has been doing so much of the cooking lately but he's obsessed with the one cast iron pan we have and has been saying he wants more.

I bought the Roomba/Braava package on Amazon for 30% off. It's being delivered today. I'll never clean the floors again!

I bought 2 new purses/bags and 2 new pairs of black shoes for work last weekend. Then I went and got my nails done last night. And I'm going to Vegas next week (where I will use one of the bags). Tis the season to spend some money!

I recently purchased myself a sweater when I was shopping for MIL and my mom. DH told me not to purchase anything else for myself until after my birthday in January. Hmmm, I wonder what he got me because I really haven't asked for anything.

Some books at the bookstore last week. Will be hitting up the adult candy store, aka liquor store, and stocking up this week, then I'm good. Maybe.

I got the most freaking, amazing gorgeous Vera Bradley purse at Stein Mart for $39.99. Yes, it's last year's pattern but anyone who judges me by the pattern on the purse is a mega-loser! DH got a lovely Tommy Bahama sweater for only $19.99 because we lucked onto their 5-hour sale with a lot of 1/2 off specials until 1 p.m. I am done with shopping for anyone else-the deals are all mine now

That type has too much free time. But you reminded me that I bought the matching lanyard (new with tags) for my laptop tote that I love, love, love. The lanyard I had was old and dirty looking (and pink). I never chose it; it was a Christmas door prize several years ago. I feel so coordinated now that I have the one that matches. I found it on EBay because it's discontinued, but I still feel like I got a decent deal. $10 with free shipping for a $12 lanyard.

Now you guys have me wanting a new Vera Bradley purse. I saw a woman with a hipster in one of my favorite prints at the Dr office a few weeks ago. I don't need another new purse...I don't need any new purses, but I want it.
(I didn't know having an old print was a bad thing. Oh well!)

I bought two sweaters at Macy's. They were 50% off so I got a good deal. I desperately need some new turtlenecks, but can't seem to find them anywhere.
I'll some new walking sneakers once the new styles come out next year.

Congratulations! I miss who's expecting/trying most times since I don't hang on KGB's thread (but I sure miss her!) because they talk about not sleeping, poop, sore nipples, and stuff over there.
We just buy stuff when we need/want it and then call it our Christmas/birthday/anniversary, etc. present. Which means we got a boat ramp, a little floating dock, and new propellers for Christmas this year.

I bought one of those video game devices at Sam's Club which has a ton of old Atari games. The cashier asked who I was giving it to as a gift and I said myself, she gave me a really funny look.

I broke down and bought the Audio version of "the Aeronaught's Windlass" by Jim Butcher --- This is the first of a new series by him and I believed the story and characters and really liked the narrator. So I jumped on the fun train for over 21 hours. It was a blast.

I can't even think of anything I want. Well, that's not totally true. I want a puppy. I will not be getting myself a puppy. I nearly got one. There is a super sweet 4 month old BC puppy up for adoption locally. The lady who runs the rescue does agility with me and brought the pup out hoping someone would take her. I was so close to taking her home. But reason and sanity finally took hold. Three high energy herding dogs would spell disaster in our small house. And yet, part of me still wants to bring her home.... Look what my aunt just sent me. BC/Mini Aussie crosses.

Dang. They are cute. That's a whole pile of energy sitting there all cute and innocent. I love the face of the one on the left.
