You guys have been around a long time, most of you. Both Marsha and myself, as well as others, have posted PLENTY of factual stories about Obama's background, the people he admires and emulates, the ones he appoints-- (are any of them left, or have they ALL resigned yet?) We have posted extensively about all of this. No reason to go back and do it again. You will believe what you choose to believe, or possibly, some of you believe in exactly what he believes in-- which will put several of us at odds with each other for as long as there are message boards to post opinions on. Fun times ahead!!

Actually-- if you were curious you could google key words in what other people say, see what comes up, and decide if any of it is credible to you. A HUGE amount of the things I have posted in the past about Mr. POTUS are accurate, from reliable sources, and a matter of public record, there for anyone that chooses to look for them. Some are more along the lines of opinion based on facts, but the facts are the facts, sir.

Good morning, Dezi!! And, for the record-- I could care less where Obama was born, and there are so many lies and so much power involved the truth may not come out in our lifetime. It cannot be disputed that he has surrounded himself with radicals his ENTIRE adult life, after he became old enough to make his own choices and not cater to the radicals that brought him up. I have asked the question many times: Please show me specific evidence that the president is a: communist, socialist, Muslim, etc, etc.
Not one time has anyone making those claims given me an answer. Not one single piece of factual evidence that he is any of those things.

He does have socialistic tendencies, but he is by no means an outright socialist. I can't think of President in the last 100 years that didn't have some socialistic tendencies.

The healthcare bill alone and his acknowledgement that it is a step towards single payer is absolutely socialistic.

The health care bill uses private insurance companies as its delivery system. That's capitalism - not socialism. Those of us who favored the single payer system are in line with those who enacted: child labor laws, 40 hr work week laws, work place safety standard laws, etc.
Capitalism/free enterprise is interested in their bottom line: profit. The health care bill is in keeping with their interests.
Obama didn't even raise a finger to enact the single payer system.

Reality...go back and google, see the vote count. Lieberman from Connecticut, a independent said straight out, single payer , he is not supporting the bill. Case closed. If a 1/2 dz Republicans had crossed over, even a few less, then certain concessions would not have been made but your claim, sorry, doesn't hold water. Single payer with the votes they had, not passing.

Final Senate count 61-39 Two Maine Republican Senators joined in the positive{gave over 100 milion to bath ship yard , destroyers to sweeten the deal}

This health reform was a huge compromise before it even started- it's basically a copy of NIXON"S plan, or the Mass system put in by ROMNEY.
