Well any respect I might have retained for her is gone completely now. You actually had some? I rank this right up there with McCain/Palin ticket, but for different reasons. I admit Carly is smart, so how could she be so stupid?

McGovern? ... Difference is he lost, and Trump will not lose. ... ![](http://i0.wp.com/www.whaleoil.co.nz/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/129174456211834256.jpg) I agree, Trump does not have it wrapped up yet. There is a long and winding road for him to do it. His chances are much better than Cruz's chances of beating Hillary ever was. I would say he is at 40/60 right now. I am just happy he blew up my Republican party at this point. It will take six years to rebuild it properly.

Speaking of Cruz, in Knightstown last night. In his speech he tried to tie Donald to Hillary for something like, 13 different stances, as both agreeing to the same stance. The first one was stated, and I said to my wife, that was a lie. The second accusation, my wife said, he is lying again. The third one, I said, "Lying Ted Cruz"! That is when I said we could have a drinking game. Every time he lies, we take a shot of Jim Beam.My wife said the fifth would be gone before the polls close The fourth stance, my wife said, "lyin Ted Cruz. Give me a shot!" I think that was when the polls closed, and networks shifted to the primary races and announced Trump won three states and Hillary one state at 7pm. Cruz just seems so lost right now. He cannot believe he has faced the same fate as all the candidates. You'd be dead of alcohol poisoning before his speech was over... I find it so amusing that the biggest liar in the campaign is successfully giving grief to the second biggest liar in the race.

So I am assuming that Cruz's selection of Carly Fiorina as his running mate was the important announcement?
IMO - I don't see how this helps him at all. In the early polls she didn't have any special appeal to women, and her destruction of HP shouldn't garner much support in California. I agree. Not a smart move politically.

Being an ex-player I listened to it. Sounded to me like he said "rim." He did botch the reference, but apparently not in the way people think. He asked, "How tall is that basketball rim?"
Well, Ted, the rim is about half an inch tall. It is ten feet high.... Still, not as bad as saying "ring." Listen to it and tell me what you heard.
Sorry, you were incorrect.Ted already admitted he "Mis-spoke"last night, to the media this morning, and his old basketball coach probably would have him running loops er, laps, when he announced he would have a major announcement to make at 10 am this morning. He announced he will have a major announcement at 4pm eastern today. That was the big announcement. Speculation is rampant. Runs from Coup de tat of the party, naming his VP pick (Pence, McDaniels?) to announcing he is giving up the campaign, to still stopping Trump on the first ballot. Talk about jousting with windmills........ Don't feel bad for me. I am HAPPY to be incorrect. ANYTHING that makes that vile, disgusting POS sound like an idiot is a win for me!
ETA: Actually, it seems to me now he said rim the first time, and ring the second time. I'll concede the point again.

The majority of Americans are already sick of listening to Trump. Think about how much more (if that it is even possible) Americans will be sick of Trump by November.

It appeared Mrs. Chris Christie, standing next to her husband, and both standing behind Trump as he gave his Victory speech in PA last night denigrating Clinton with the female issue, was thinking to herself, "What a f***ing asshole."

Ted Cruz and Carly? ... Any other ideas anyone? None. Cruz won a minimal turnout primary before being elected to a safe GOP Senate seat in the only election he has entered. Fiorina has never been elected to any office. He is losing in the nomination process and she dropped out of that process after not being successful in getting votes. ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/idunno.gif)

so, Trump is back on track to win the nomination, now. i put him above 50/50 to win it outright.
Indiana looms large. if Cruz can get back in there, he might still stop Trump. if not, it is Trump -vs- Clinton.

I received a political pollster call tonight ... wanting to know my voting plans for the California primary and asking if Cruz's announcement of Carly Fiorino as a running mate changed my mind in any way.

Pence just killed his fall re-election chances. He lost my vote if he does. Trump looks like he may now sweep Indiana delegates Tuesday. It has been that bad a week for Cruz.

We just mailed, with overnight delivery of our Indiana primary ballot. Has to arrive at the clerk's office by 1 pm Tuesday to be counted, and was afraid even going priority mail, might not make it (three days, but not sure when it would arrive on the third day) Just a hair under $22 to vote. We had an amazing number of people to vote for the Presidential nomination Fiorina Carson Paul Bush Cruz and a couple others. Trump was listed last as it was alphabetical listing. As you can see, some people will probably still be voting for their original pick We also had a long list of delegates to represent the state Republican convention which we were to vote for no more than, get this, fourteen people. Of course, there is nothing to identify who they would vote for, so we know that is a crap shoot. I voted for only six, that I felt safe would vote Trump rather than Cruz. My wife selected eight.

Well, Pence called an audible as if he was the qb of Indiana University, which has a history of bad football teams. He did not officially endorse Cruz. He stated he would vote for Cruz. Talk about politicians who want Cruz to win but refuse to actually endorse and get on the campaign wagon tour is growing and growing. Yeh, it was a ringing endorsement backing of Cruz

i now see Cruz as a 2:1 favourite in Indiana.
edit: actually, i will go one step further on this. right now, i think that Cruz stands a good chance of winning the next THREE primaries and putting Trump down 100 delegates from target AGAIN.
this is not over.

i now see Cruz as a 2:1 favourite in Indiana. Now you are just playing with me. Since you are in a playing mood, what do you think of the protests last night and this afternoon in California? Does it hurt Trump's chances there?

The biggest liar running for president is Hillary Clinton. I think for her is is a calculated tactic. She knows she might get caught in the lie and she knows those who support her will ignore the lie if she gets caught. "All politicians lie," they will say. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/sad.png)

I honestly do not think I have heard him speak 5 times since he started running for president. I think the same is probably true for the other candidates too. I quit watching the news and change channels when it comes on tv or the radio. I get most of my info from the internet.

I enjoy the fact he has broken the Republican party leadership, or at least hope he has. They have lied to us for decades and never fulfilled their promises to us, even when they had the ability to do it. I only write about Trump, because I recognized he hit the sweet spot with fellow Republican voters. He talks the talk, and not afraid to talk about issues that label him with various religious and immoral references, but are issues that must be discussed and fixed so our nation can continue to grow and prosper. I have already stated Hillary has a 60% chance to win in the fall. It is her's to lose. I will never vote for her. I cannot do it. I am also a Republican who cannot vote for Cruz. Ever. At least Trump has finally and aptly named the last Republican standing in the race. Lying Ted Cruz.

I can't wait for the Republican Conference or whatever is called when they actually pick their nominee. That's gonna be something to see especialy if they allow weapons in as some want. As much as Donald Trump wants now to look all political and republican mind you, he is neither. He remains a selfish businessman that will do and say anything to get a deal to go his way while entertaining the crowds sometimes with his bluntness and sometimes with his ignorance. In some circles in Chicago(believe it to be Bernie Sanders supporters ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/grin.png) ) the call him T. I laughed hard on that!
