Trump and Fiorina scream COMPETENCE. Something that has been sorely lacking the White House for 6 yrs. Not so sure about that. both have TONS of bad business decisions & outcomes on their resumes. moreover, they have tons of things on their resume which undermine their populist cred. it is going to be tough for them to hide that.

As usual, you don't post the full article title. I won't bother with the first part of the article title but your bolded 'Every Democrat Trails Trump' is missing the rest of the sentence which reads Every Democrat Trails Trump, Though Narrowly: Do you really think posters are not going to open your links and not notice your intentional omissions?

Some African-Americans are no different than some white people. Both can be attracted to shiny pennies. It maybe be currency but it doesn't by a thing by itself today.

two things: 1) this survey had an unusual amount of undecided vote (about 15%). neither Trump NOR the other candidates got anywhere near 50% 2) Trump hasn't said anything stupid about blacks yet.

I'm beginning to understand why the press likes him so much. I wonder how easy it is going to be to top Bing Bing Bong Bong.

i agree with the analysis, but i FERVENTLY disagree with THIS conclusion: The bottom line is to ignore all polling. Be vocal in your opinions, and get out and vote. If you do, then without a question we will once again have a Democrat as President of the United States. NO! don't ignore the polling! this is a warning shot. this poll says that a Trump presidency is POSSIBLE without activism, without thoughtful analysis, and without informing the voters. take heed. ignoring this is WAY more of a danger than celebrating it. after all, the only people celebrating are those that really want it to happen.

Unfortunately, I am not the author of the article so I couldn't edit out the last line. I agree with you about not ignoring polls. Just ignore this one.

What you cannot argue with is that Trump's turnaround in the polls is absolutely stunning. It is not something you see happen that often. In fact, the last time I can remember even hearing about a national candidate doing it was when Reagan's people met with the Christian coalition and Reagan went from 5 points down to 5 points up in 30 days. Interestingly-- the Cruz people are doing the same thing-- meeting with pastors. Cruz of course (I know- maybe I'll start a thread on it) already upset an entrenched establishment candidate-- Dewhurst. He beat the crap out of that m'f'er from nowhere. I'm wondering if he can do something similar on the national stage?

I've never argued that Obama was not a citizen. In my opinion, if Obama was born in Kenya he is still a citizen because his mother's citizenship has never been in dispute, and the status of the mother is the status of the child.

More and more I believe Trump has lost touch with reality. The attention he's getting for his outrageous attacks on people is going to his head. From the WP Oh Trump reminds us he went to the Wharton School of Business. But bankrupted how many businesses?

I don't know who they are polling, but I wonder if they will actually vote for him. Maybe the polls are asking if he'd be good on SNL?

That's a fair point- what I pay attention to are the trends. I'm seeing things in the polls I've never seen before-- wild swings. For example, today I saw that Bernie is basically tied with Hilldebeast 41% - 40% in New Hampshire. Margin of error stuff- no biggie. IF this were a normal poll. It's not. The trend line is Hill is DOWN 12% in a month, and Bernie is up 8%. You don't typically see movement that dramatic in a month, and especially this early. The numbers for Trump show a similar about face-- from nearly 60% disapproval to almost the opposite now.
