I'll take that as a yes Trump apparently started rumor ing the general will be fixed... The fact that the system is rigged is no longer theory. Collusion between the DNC and the media has now been documented. You think that's changed for the general election? Ha! Here's the thing: it's not going to matter. Hillary Rodham Clinton will never, ever be President of the United States. She is a weak candidate in a party devastated by 8 years of the worst President since Jimmy Carter. . he is the worst president since Bush. i will grant you that.

Trump has sure kicked someone's ass. From a rabid Cruz conservative to lapping the gilded sweat falling off Trump's brow. What an embarrassment of sycophancy.

Got it. He appeals to morons and mouth-breathing knuckle-draggers.
Not something I'd brag about.

Maybe there's just no need for a "liason between the Trump campaign and the RNC" any longer?

Jeb Bush spent $130 million dollars to win 3 delegates. Don't look for Trump to run a Jeb! / Clinton-style campaign where a lot of money is spent for virtually no results...

I'm excited for that possibility I don't see it happening. Most of the visible Republicans have been apologists for Trump or support him based on the fact he won the nomination. I do not see that changing anytime soon, especially in public.

I'll take that as a yes Trump apparently started rumor ing the general will be fixed... Democrats and Independents are coming to a realization Republicans have had to face: there's no choice other than Trump. I guess I didn't get that memo.
Could have come through my other email - my old one that gets full of spam. I'll have to check.

Right now I have a half dozen friends too timid to put a Trump sticker on their car because of the obvious threat of violence from the left which has manifested itself over the last year. Yeah that's why they aren't putting Trump stickers on their cars. At least, that's the excuse they're giving you.

Steff I think we might live in the same dinky GA town.
Last POTUS election we ran about 89% GOP, I'm curious how it will look this year. Last time, there was a lot of letters to the editor of our little newspaper pro-GOP and anti-Dems; So far, haven't seen a single one. Although I haven't seen a single pro Hillary one, either.
Don't know yet if it's because not many can stomach supporting Trump publically or if it's just too early yet for the letters to the editors to start coming in.
We are a dinky, rural, very conservative and very religious town, but also very patriotic and supportive of our vets. The VFW hall is one of our social spots. I'm wondering how many of those patriotic voters have soured on Trump from his recent rampage. I don't know that they would vote for Hillary, but I can see them just not voting at all. Only voting day will show, I guess.
I'm between Atlanta & Athens (closer to Athens). Just one of many 1 light towns along the way. I remember last election I saw a ton of Romney signs & bumperstickers & 1 lone Obama bumper sticker. This time I have seen 1 Trump sign, but several rabid Trump supporters and not a single bumpersticker. I've seen THREE! Hillary bumperstickers. That gives me some hope. We did have a rabid Trumpster at the neighborhood bbq and he was campaigning HARD. Like he already knew it wasn't gonna work. I just avoided him like the plague that day. His yard is the lone Trump sign. I have heard more than I want to hear at the Farmer's Market, but it is old white guys. And it's more about why Hillary is bad instead of why we should vote for Trump. I just smile and try not to let my head explode. I wouldn't make much money that way. lol
My hubby & I are currently going rounds on me putting a Hillary sign in the yard. I do understand his concerns considering where we live, but damn I want to put one out there so bad I can't see straight. We've been playing window tag with the sign for now. I put it in the garage window facing the street, he moved it to the one facing the woods. I put it on the front balcony, he put it in the basement window facing the backyard. I'm hiding it while I'm gone on vacation. lol He's not against Hillary, in fact he says he knows she'll win, he's just not a politics guy. His party is "pedestrian" He's just passing thru. (his words)
We're way up under 'nooga, just over the line.
I know what you mean about the Hillary sign. I live sandwiched between a guy who has a giant confederate battle flag on a pole stuck in the back of his Jeep and the Clampetts with a yard full of various machinery parts and a pack of dogs. This area has a history of drunken idiots setting fires to the houses of people they disagree with, going back to pre-Civil war years. Rather not become a target.
Although neither neighbor has a Trump sign in their yard - but they fall into the Trump demographic.

One of the highest per capita concentrations of micro breweries, plus fabulous scenery and always a good 5 - 10 degrees colder than 'nooga, which is important this time of year.
I go visit my mother in Atlanta every other weekend and those outlets are right on the way.

Let's look at a poll, shall we?
All of the sudden Rasmussen says Clinton leads by 5 points amid “unaffiliated” voters when 10 days ago, the same Rasmussen poll had Trump leading by 20 points (44/24), with unaffiliated voters. Was there a 25 point swing among unaffiliated voters in 10 days? If you believe that, I'm going to sell you a helluva lot more than just a bridge. Yet, there it is. By the way- the prior poll had Trump +11 (43/32) with unaffiliated voters. This is an absurdity. At best it shows they've really got no idea what's going on- so their polls are worthless.
To believe current polling, you would have to accept that Trump got roughly a 16 or 17 point bump in his post-convention "bounce", and that there has been another massive swing in the polls.
Back in the middle of June, Hillary Clinton was supposedly ahead of Donald Trump by a ridiculous 10 to 15 points. A month later, the same polls showed a tie, now at the end of July - beginning of August, we're expected to believe Hillary magically has a 10 point lead-- back to the June narrative.
You're entitled to believe that the race is fluid to the tune of 15 to 20 points one way or the other. I don't.

I agree, Rasmussen has no idea what's going on and their polls are worthless. Let's take them out of the mix.

Trump got about a 4% bump in the polls, and so far, Clinton has got about 5%. those are very close to historical norms.

Or visit it in spring when the azaleas are blooming. Azaleas the size of VW bugs, all massed together and covered with blooms -really nice.

I do not see that changing anytime soon, especially in public. Rep. Congressman Richard Hanna says he's voting for Hilary. I'm sure some will call him not a republican. Personally, that's his constituents call, in my opinion as he's their representative. He's also not running for re-election. i heard some dummy on the radio claiming that Trump would "lose endorsements" over his comments.
what endorsements? Trump only got THIRTEEN endorsements during the primary (less than Kasich).
if he lost all (13), would it even matter?
people are stupid sometimes.
