My condolences to you and your family. It's a cliche, but one door closed and others opened. Praying that you are your family are able to adjust to your new normal. In time, may fond memories replace your grief. May God bless and keep you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband passing, and I pray you strength and endurance at this time. I'm also glad to hear that your housing and financial picture are better than you anticipated so you can focus on yourself and your children during this difficult time.

Shasta PLEASE do check out the other poster's info on the health care you might be eligible for as a freelancer. I want you to have health insurance. Maybe you can use part of the forgiven mortgage payments for that?
