That woman is certifiably nuts! She goes on and on and on about Christians and God and Jesus! She even mentioned that we are in 2015! But I don't think she knows that we are in 2015. She doesn't even seem to comprehend the fact that not everybody is a Christian. Nobody's telling you to marry a woman lady so shut up! From TV's Wife Swap series a few years ago. Nothing wrong with her beliefs. She is entitled to them. But her demeanor is something else.

I can't stand to watch that shit all to the end! I went thru a lot of bad stuff in my life, some more scary than other but that woman could scare the pope shitless!( not "could" but certainly) I have all respect for religion and people that practice it. Any kind of! However there is the occasional one that despite their belief that they are religious, they are not. They are just another ignorant fool! That woman is one. But hey, she had her 5 minutes of fame right?!

This is just my interpretation based on what she said later in the same video, once she calmed down... but the family that "greeted her" was actually HER family on her return from the "godless heathen" family that she "swapped" with. and she was berating the camera crew and the show producers for putting her with such "filth and depravity" and forcing it on her family (in the form of the non-Christian wife that joined her family for a while in her absence).

She was probably expecting to swap with a rich (but still Christian) family or a OCD (but still Christian) family, or a "both parents work" (but still Christian) family (I don't know that she doesn't work, but I'm guessing not), or something like that... basically I think she was expecting some kind of different family dynamic, but still Christian. In fairness to the show... I'd bet that most of the swaps have been between Christian families, not because it's a Christian show but just because the majority of Americans ARE some flavor of Christian, so the majority of families they have in the selection pool will be Christian.

NO SHIT? SHE IS A LANDOVERITE? THAT IS RAD! My first thought is The Magic Kingdom of Landover series by Terry Brooks. I'm going to assume that I'm wrong but am not going to go looking for what it actually is. I can't afford to fall down another online rabbit hole today!

Landover is a parody church. it is to mainstream Baptism what the Onion is to mainstream journalism.

So can I ask what might seem like a really dumb question (remember I'm a California Jew and according to AgeOfEnlightenmentSCP that's akin to the dark side jihadist) are there many religions that won't perform same sex marriages around? Familiar with ones that won't marry 2 people who aren't members of their 'group' but I'm talking about ones that will kick out a church for performing a same sex or interracial ceremony

Leads to a question:
Do you think it would help or hurt the cause of equal rights if American church groups were told they were "less pure" on the issue than Islam?
