You are wrong Paul. We are talking black democrats entrenched in politics in a burned out inner city ghetto. Just like Gary and Detroit.

Okay, let me simplify the question. How many black Americans were killed in Baltimore for the ten day period starting with the protest day, that were not protesting? That's a red herring. Its like saying I can not protest women getting raped by cops during traffic stops because there are more rapes happening everyday happening caused by other people. Its crazy.
Red and purple striped herring. How many white people were killed in Baltimore for that 10 day period? Why would this matter at all, if one was concerned about dying or being seriously injured in police custody?
Red herring....now you are dj...... Remember white lives do not matter. Only black ones, and they do not count when it is the black neighbor down the street that shot them down in the street.

Really? Are you taking the road that even the appearance of impropriety requires a recusal
They wanted a special prosecutor for Michael Brown too- and the same folks that shot that one down that wants one for this one.
Please tell me you aren't listening to the fat racist on AM radio again.

VB, you know better. Black lives matter is a catch phrase they are using in the campaign against police violence against blacks. You and others could expand it to 'All lives matter'. But to pretend this any other than a campaign against police violence is disengious.
What is it in you that makes the phrase Black lives matter so threatening? I like Red does not mean I hate blue, yet that's exactly how you are trying to see it. You want to make the campaign of angry people sick of being killed by police about you and your issues. Why?

I have to admit I missed your red white and blue analogy.

all lives matter. but we are focusing on black lives right now. i hope that is OK with you, but if not, tough shit. See the video of the 61 year old white guy who was beaten in Baltimore just days before the riot? There are lots of nonwhite kids kidnapped every year, and lots of non white/older/unattractive women who get beaten and killed by their spouses every year, but you rarely see those victims on your evening news. You see the adorable white girl with the beautiful hair who got snatched off the street, or the beautiful white young pregnant woman who is suddenly missing and her husband is suspected, because those are the kinds of victims that attract a lot of media attention, because the media knows viewers will be sympathetic to attractive white victims. Right now, the focus is on police brutality to black people, and any instance of it, especially cases where the black person is seriously injured and/or appeared to not be doing anything criminal when he was assaulted, will become national news stories very quickly. This doesn't mean brutality to white people doesn't matter. It's just not interesting to the media. It isn't racially motivated, it's just what sells ad time and magazines. But you know that. You're just trying to stir the racial pot.

On that logic she would never be able to prosecute anyone. No, she just can't prosecute the police after giving a political speech about why she's doing it- calling it a "cause" and allying herself ideologically with her largest campaign donor who happens to also be the attorney for the family at the center of the "cause".

50 people have been shot in Baltimore since Freddie Gray died. None of them by police, but some of them- police.

She can't prosecute the cases she promised to prosecute when she campaigned? I would say that if she campaigned on it she got a mandate from the voters to do it. As for the campaign donor thing, if she can't prosecute any case where the victim or any of their friends supported her she won't be prosecuting many cases.

She cannot prosecute a case where she has an obvious conflict of interest. This isn't the slightest bit gray area.

Like all these cases what the charges are become of utmost importance. Most people including conservatives are not well versed in the various shades of charges when it comes to killing someone. In general speech, if you kill someone intentionally or not we usually call it murder. However, the legal system has created all these shades of charges regarding killing someone, which is confusing to most non legal folks.
And the problem snowballs because prosecutors often over-charge in cases like these and guilty people walk free, not because they are totally innocent, but they were charged on crime levels that could not be proven. Which is bad because it teaches some people including cops ways to get away with manslaughter intentional or not and teaches the people that cops or others who kill people may get no punishment at all except a trial.
I think Ferguson probably turned out the way it should have. where is your "liberal outrage"? That doesn't come from the educated liberals. Too bad they're so few in number.
