I feel that it's blow back time.
If you owe any debt to any publicly held corporation...just stop paying. They've stolen enough of our money and now it's time to revolt!

It's time for us to declare a debt holiday..voluntary or otherwise.
Enough is enough!
Let them write it all off..and we start from scratch.

The attitude expressed in the OP is the perfect example of how we got into this mess - people wanting something for nothing. Take out a mortgage you can't afford, sign a contract you didn't read, then bail on it when it turns out the bank actually DOES want the money back (with interest no less, the jackals)!
Now more than ever is the time for personal responsibility, not head in the sand denial. I think by now most of the dupes who voted for Barack Hussein Obama have realized he is a fraud and a charlatan who has no interest in helping the American people. It's time to hunker down and take responsibility for your debts.
There are enough whiny losers sitting in their FEMA trailers waiting for the next government check, how about a dose of accountability instead?

Actually ed..we are sick and tired of getting screwed around, as the rationalizations you espouse do not justify corporate behavior. And if you are not with us then you are against us which makes you one of the enemy.
So if we need to be partisan..it's time for yours!

Just think of this as 1789 France..which means it's time to cut off the heads of the rule makers, as their rule has been unjust.

Ed, I agree with an awful lot of your posts, but I'm telling you I've been around these boards awhile and SOTH is a pretty smart guy. I may not always agree with him, but in one sense his premise is right if you stop and think really hard about it. His logic (correct me if I'm wrong SOTH) is that, if the Fed is fraudulently printing money to bail out corporations and to embezzle money from taxpayers, why shouldn't he be irate? I think this entire crisis was generated and it could have easily been prevented if the Fed hadn't lowered interest rates to 1% for so long. This is what Thomas Jefferson referred to as the "swindling" of the citizenry. Human nature is predictable and bankers take advantage of it every step of the way.
I feel his anger and I must say, I am just as angry. But I am directing my anger toward the system and I am choosing to fight it Constitutionally.

SOTH I understand your anger and to be quite honest I feel a lot of it myself. But stay the course man, don't lose your cool. As a nation we can beat the banking bastids without stooping to their level. Let's do it in an orderly way via Tea Parties and informing others of the truth, and let history unfold for a bit. If I could help you I would, all I can do is tell you that my motives are in your and this nation's best interests -- NOT the bankers, and NOT the "too big to fails".

Tax Indentured Message #12 - 04/01/09 02:57 PM
I believe in the voting booth but we need to vote in a unified way to send a message. Not voting sends the wrong message. William F. Buckley said he would rather be governed by the first 50 names in the phone book than by DC politicians. I don't care if I send the local "Dog Catcher" to Washington. I believe what he doesn't know politically would be mitigated by electing a Senator ( the Dog Catcher) or Rep. (the Dog Catcher again) with a servants heart. It's time the electorate got over electing politicians as they do not know what is best. Elect individuals with common sense (Thomas Paine) and forget the professional politicians.

We agree for the most part. Government is the symptom not the cause. The cause of our problems are corporate controlled lobbyists who get government to work on their behalf.
Their is only one cure for this disease and that is to put the "causal effect" out of business.
And you know congress won't do it, so the American people must do it by causing their bankruptcy and starting fresh.

The government is the total problem. The only reasons corperations will lobby is if the government has enough control so that they get a return on their investment.
Limit the size and power of Government lobbying disapeers.

I agree wholeheartedly, otherwise known as "fascism". Keep the illusion of free market capitalism, when really we all know there are about a dozen bankers behind the scenes, pulling the strings. This isn't conspiracy theory anymore, if one knows where to look for the information they themselves have stated in public.

Now..i'm not suggesting running up your cc...just stop paying the debt you have and if you did that..even the collectors would get fired from the volume and lack of cash flow.
If we can't get a tax holiday..we can at least take a forced debt holiday.
Even my wife now gets her hours cut if they can't book a patient for her.
It's time to push back!!!!

Are there still lots of people doing biz with these crooks? I guess some people are masochists...
