Hey that was all odious debt...maybe china can use a few of our aircraft carrier fleets and Saudi Arabia can write it off as the cost of doing business for their kissy relationship with Bush to keep the American economy dependent on their oil.
The American people should refute that debt right now!

The sad thing is the amount of money spent on the first bank bailout could have paid off everyone in America's credit card debt. Granted, many would run it back up again, but they would stimulate the economy while doing so.

Just a thought on these old threads..how about concentrating on what is new, possible the old ones, go into a catagory of such as a 'history"," stories from back in the day "..something like that for those who might like the nostalgia days and see posters that are no longer among the living.. I am ending up with going to threads i have no interest in ..and while i might be the only one..I am guessing a few others might feel the same..not saying to not resurrect them but a zone dedicated for them...just a suggestion.
