WTF was up with Abraham talking to Sasha about kids?! They've been together for like five minutes. Not to mention he just dumped Rosita. Not cool man. I do love all the one-liners he'd had lately, I am going to use "Bitch nuts" next time something goes wrong at work. Ya, his one-liners were great in this episode!
And when he told Eugene about first-class dick biting or whatever - that was freakin hilarious!

I was shaken up about Eugene. I like the evolution of his character because when we met him never in a million years would I have guessed he'd volunteer to drive the RV.
DH was surprised that Morgan killed the savior.
I wasn't. I told him if you remember the episode devoted to Morgan when he is reading the book about Akido it states on the first page that even though the philosophy is defense only/do not kill that sometimes in the name of defense you will need to kill your opponent.
I said they wouldn't have shown that page of the book if they weren't foreshadowing events to happen later. The WD doesn't focus on stuff like that just for poops and giggles.
He called me a dork.

I don't think Maggie got it. Neegan commented that she looked like she was already on death's door. Killing her off would not be all that dramatic, to him it probably would look like a mercy killing.
His comments would make no sense either since it wouldn't have taken much to polish Maggie off.
Whoever it is that got killed it's someone who was healthy enough to stay upright after the first blow.
Which rules out Maggie and Daryl. We know Rick and Carl didn't get it.
That leaves Rosita, Eugene, Aaron, Glenn, Michonne and Abraham.

But he didn't know Maggie was pregnant. There was a lot of camera play going on which they said on TD they did on purpose b/c they knew we'd all be busy sketching out diagrams of who was kneeling where and lining up Neegan's bat accordingly.

DH also thought Maggie because of how it actually happens in the comics - the show would just be having Maggie/Glenn switch roles.

But he didn't know Maggie was pregnant. How do you know that? How would he know? Unless someone in Alexandria is an inside source for the Saviors.
All the Saviors who knew Maggie was pregnant are dead.
She doesn't look pregnant.
Glenn didn't say anything about her being pregnant when he went for her the first time.

The group would have taken the information to their graves. They never said why they were trying to get to Hilltop nor did they say anything when they were all kneeling about why Maggie was on the stretcher. It's also way too soon for her to showing so there are no obvious signs she's pregnant.
The only other person that would know is the doctor at Hilltop and why would they torture him for information about the group?
They'd also need to know which of the group is Maggie and which is Glenn whom Neegan has never seen. All the Saviors that up until this point met the group are dead.
It's possible he somehow got the information but I think unlikely.

So "dad taking it like a champ" didn't mean anything then. Either Carl or Maggie if it did. I think Maggie.

I do feel like someone within Alexandria has to be in contact with the Saviors.
How else would they have known that the RV was setting out for Hilltop that day and put all those roadblocks in place?
Sure, the Saviors did capture Glenn/Michonne/Daryl/Rosita and they knew that Rick would come looking for them, but...
Perhaps someone in Alexandria poisoned Maggie to set the plan in motion that day?

He could have been killing whoever is next to Carl and been talking to Carl while he did it.
In the comics Neegan forms a weird fatherly relationship with Carl. While they do veer off the comics quite often from what I've read that's a pretty integral part of the Neegan storyline to cut out of the show.
He also told the Saviors that if Carl makes a noise while he's taking a bat to mystery character's head to pop his other eye out and make Rick eat it.

I just watched my DVR of the show with captions on and it says "Look at that...taking it like a champ."

That's what I thought he said too.
Which is why I don't think it's Maggie b/c she's about to fall over dead on her own. I don't see taking a bat to her head being as effective as Neegan wants the message to be. To him it'd probably be a mercy killing if he beat Maggie up.
Better to kill a healthy person then "generously" let them all go to Hilltop as intended to save Maggie.

I thought he said dad. Could be wrong and didn't DVR it so can't listen again.

DH is betting Abraham.
Abraham was supposed to die after being shot with the crossbow. They veered from the comics and put Denise in his place. DH thinks they did they to save him for the season finale.
I'm going with Michonne at the moment. Rick's women don't tend to survive very long on the show.

I thought it was interesting on TD that they talked about how if we had been following Neegan since the pilot instead of Rick we'd consider Rick's group the bad guys.
It's all a matter of perspective on this show.
Carol was getting on my nerves. I understand she's having some sort of existential crisis going on but geeze.

Personally I think it'll be Daryll... but only because I heard that Norman Reedus' contract is up and they didn't renew. So it just makes sense.
But in the graphic novels it's Glenn that dies, although we've seen them veer away from that (like how that girl on the tracks took Abraham's death - as mentioned above).
My gut says that it's Abraham though... he was the one that seemed like the biggest threat and killing him would send the biggest signal.

I wonder if the writers even know who died. The actor who plays Carl tweeted that he still didn't know who died at this point. The writers could be waiting to see how viewers respond before making a decision. I'm not sure they would have started filming for season 7 yet?

My bets are on Daryl or Abraham. It better not have been Michonne . I also found it peculiar that all the road blocks were already in place when they set out to Hilltop. I enjoyed the show but sadly my mind kept going back to one thought over and over again - "OMG! Will someone please shave Carl's head in his sleep." I was actually half expecting Negan to comment on that hair and stupid hat. So now, how are they going to get out of this one? If Alexandria and Hilltop can find other groups The Savior's are taking from then perhaps they can form an army. If they really can manufacture bullets like Eugene thinks then... Going to war seems like the only option.

It better not be Daryl! I think it was Glenn. My second thought is Abraham. And I just started liking him.

Did the whistling remind anyone else of The Hunger Games?
I wonder if we ever get a backstory on Negan and how his group was formed. I would be very interested in seeing that.
Obviously, Negan is an awful person who bashes in people's heads and steals from others but Rick's plan of "taking out" a group they knew zero about was stupid as hell. I guess Rick's ego is now in check.

I thought Neegan was going to make Rick pick which of his people was going to get it.

I just never felt any bond with them in the first season. None of them were particularly likeable characters for me. If FTWD had been the first it never would have caught on.

DH and I are ready to check out of FWD as well. I hate all the characters and keep hoping they die. The only one I like even a tiny bit is the older south american gentleman because he is the only one with a set of brains. DH said "Well remember it all just started so they have no idea what to do." Neither did anyone in the WD! The apocalypse happened during the 3 weeks Rick was in a comma. Yet they didn't behave near as stupid as the characters in FWD are. DH said that Maddie is the "Lori" of FWD.
