I don't disagree with the drop in CSI's ratings... what I meant was the new show is (or was) driven by CSI hopefuls hoping a new direction of investigation (and new cast) would re-spark the CSI franchise.

I agree that it was just the curiosity factor. I would be very surprised if the ratings continue to by that high. I am not impressed and would much rather watch the original!

I am sorry but CSI:Cyber is losing me. I think the acting is getting worse, especially by the 3 main characters. Peter MacNichol's lines this week were just awful! There is just no personality in their acting, they are like caricatures.
I will say that Lil Bow Wow's acting is improving though, I mean since he is a singer by trade he can only get better as he learns, right?
I have said before that I have never watched PA in anything but if this is the way she acts in all her roles how in the world did she win an Oscar?

I didn't even watch Cyber last week, just changed the channel. Or maybe got in the shower. One of those. Which one is Lil Bow Wow? I assume the only guy of color that I've seen so far but who knows, maybe I did miss something.....

Yes he is the tech guy that was given a choice of working for them or going to jail. I think his character's name is Brodie.
None of the characters have any endearing qualities, except maybe Crummy.

He's the only one I sort of liked. Says a lot for the skills of those around him.

I think you are going to be waiting a while then. Based on the inexplicable ratings I think it will get renewed.

TV Guide did an article on the likelihood of shows being renewed. I am going to post the lists on the General TV Chat thread tomorrow night.

Nope.  I'm still only watching DVR'd episodes on A&E.  Maybe I'll order the last 3 seasons and binge watch while I'm on leave next month.  I scheduled my surgery so the kids are still in school, this way I can spend all day on the couch watching reruns if I want to.  Almost 2 weeks!

Ah, my bff calls that "poor people tv".  I would probably give up my microwave before my DVR.  I think it is a bit of an addiction now.  I throw a fit when something doesn't record right & I have to watch it ondemand with commercials & it takes twice as long.  I may need an intervention.

They are crazy fanatical tv viewers.  They have 50" & 60" tvs side by side so they can split screen & watch 4 sporting events at one time.  I think I would go blind or crazy trying to watch that way.

So I read in TV Guide this week that on the season finale of CSI:Cyber PA finally catches the hacker that got into her patient files causing one of them to commit suicide. And according to them this incident is why her demeanor is the way it is right now (no emotion robot)? Really? It said that we will see a totally different PA next season. Seriously? Yes I am still watching.

I know I know! Once I commit to watching a show it is hard for me to stop.
I think a 2nd season is pretty much a given at this point.
