Still one of my all time favorite shows. I have them all on DVD. I am very loyal once I find a show I like. I stick it out to the end whether or not I like the direction it is going.

Someone has to be. I drift away from a good chunk of them. The Mentalist and Person of Interest have both lost me lately. I'm not as gung ho about CSI as I used to be but still watch......

Nope Nick never left and you are thinking about the salary dispute at the end of season 2, they just missed a couple of episodes but were back by the next season. Sara left to be with Grissom in season 9 but returned in season 10.

Person of Interest is another show I love! But this one I watch a season behind. I only started watching it last summer when I ordered the 1st three seasons on DVD and watched them all at once. So I haven't seen any from this year yet. I will order the full season when it is released. I have thought about starting a thread for it.

I have started doing the same thing for L&O SVU. I used to watch them 1st run but then they moved it to an inconvenient time so I just started watching that one a season behind. I think it was the season after Chris Meloni left. It is kind of fun to be able to watch a whole new season all at once.

Yep and yep. I was very disappointed when they killed her off and that whole samaritan crap but not enough to stop me from watching. The actress that played Carter knew when she signed on to do the part that she would be killed off. It was a storyline that was already planned from the beginning. She said in an interview that she wasn't allowed to tell her costars though so it was a complete surprise for them when it happened.

Good for her but for some of us it was an interest killer. She was the glue of sanity for the most part.  

I don't have any intense dislike of any of the rest of the characters, but it's just wrong now.

I totally understand your frustration at her leaving. It is so funny that you brought up that show today. I was seriously thinking of starting a thread for it tomorrow. Maybe I still will.

Nah I will just repost them. The problem with moving posts that were done before the thread is created is they are then the 1st ones in the thread and the 1st post done by the person creating the thread gets moved down in time order. Like if you look at the 1st page of the Downton Abbey thread I started the 1st posts there now are ones moved from another thread and my initial post when I started the thread was moved down to post #4.

So did anyone else watch the 2 season finale's of CSI last Sunday? I did! I am glad the article I read was totally off base about one of the original characters being killed off. Sad to see Nick go.
Since I haven't read anything about Elizabeth Shue leaving I doubt she will die. I have to believe that it will be renewed for maybe one more season. It just didn't feel like a series finale to me, they can't leave it like that!

I sure hope not! I mean after 16 years they can't just leave it like that with one person in a coma. They have to at least do like a 2 hour final show next year or something. This show put CBS on the map and can't just be cast aside in such a disappointing way.

Yeah, Arquette. Was never a fan and couldn't care less that she won an Oscar.  She was on that Medium show a while back. Think that's what it was called. 

I'll keep watching if I'm too lazy to change the channel, or don't take the opportunity to go take a shower.

What I find odd about the premise of CSI:Cyber is that is FBI based. I mean all the other CSI shows were forensics teams for police departments. I know the creators are the CSI creators but why the FBI?
Shouldn't this rather have been an offshoot of Criminal Minds?

Pretty disappointing and formulaic. In general the reviews have been bad. I wonder if Arquette is sorry she signed up for this now that she has won an Oscar. I wonder if she will have to turn down any movie roles.
