Sooooo disappointed in season finale

I missed the first hour so spent most of the 2nd hour wondering if it would make more sense if I hadn't. I found a couple of things stupid, but was glad to see Reid so I kept watching. 

I don't even remember what the "to be continued" was about. That should tell you something.

Nope the first hour had nothing to do with the second hour. CBS just decided they wanted to end their season sooner to make room for Code Black's return so they just showed 2 unrelated episodes back to back. They haven't renewed CM yet just like last year they waited until the end of May I think. I think they will renew it since it is still pulling okay numbers but I feel like it should be the last season.
And yes the finale was a bit disappointing. It was all over the place and I feel they should have just ended the season with a finished story not the irritating to be continued....they haven't been renewed yet so a bit presumptuous on their part.

Both glad and very sad that the 1st hour wouldn't have helped me. A couple of things I found stupid just seemed like really lazy writing. It could have been much better than it was.

I DVR'd it and was surprised it was 2 hours. When the second episode started I thought something was wrong. Lame decision on their part.

I don't know if CL or OMK saw but CBS has announced that next season would be the last for CM. I have to be honest I am not sad about this. I think it is time for this one to end.

I feel the same way about NCIS but as long as it is consistently in the Top 10 each week they will milk it for as long as they can.

I did see that, and saw also that this current season is only 15 episodes and next one will be 10. That explains why I feel like I've missed more than I actually have. I'll miss it but they've screwed it up and played it out as much as they can. Sigh....

CL Chocolate Lover I don't see you post much anymore but I thought I would let you know that I read yesterday that Paramount+ is reviving CM for a 16th season for 10 episodes and maybe more. It also says most but not all of the cast is returning.
My hope would be my favs JJ, Penelope, Spencer and hopefully Rossi even though he retired.

I did! But since I don't have Paramount+ I won't get to see anymore until they have free preview weeks.
It was okay. They were all working in different places all over the country and on different cases but that should meld together as the season goes on.
The returning characters were:
Rossi
JJ
Prentiss (who is a bigwig boss now )
Penelope
Luke Alvez
Tara

I was disappointed that Spencer isn't coming back.

I don't have Paramount+ either, but since I never cared for Luke or Tara and was hoping Spencer and Hoch would have come back, I guess I won't be missing much...lol

I did luck out and by accident found repeats starting with season 1 on a cable channel that airs twice a week and am a happy camper seeing those again.

Actually TV Guide had them on the cover in the last edition and gave it a favorable review. They are only doing 10 episodes this season and it is one storyline for the whole season.
