I had originally missed the beginning of last night's episode the first time it aired and for just a split second my little cold heart rejoiced at seeing both Hotch and Morgan, then reality caught up with me.  Just brought home how much they can't be replaced.

Same here. The cable listing said new so the DVR recorded old shows.

Yep that was CBS too! But I watch those on demand a week later so I didn't know they had done that with them too. Criminal Minds is about the only show I still watch real time.

I record everything & watch it the next day. I don't think I could do a whole week.

LOL I don't have a DVR so if I wait a week on demand they have removed most of the commercials. Totally worth it!

I was right about them using Mr Scratch to write out Hotch but Witsec never crossed my mind. I guess most of you will be relieved that they didn't kill him off.
I really would have preferred Rossi as the boss but again a lot of you will be pleased that it is Prentiss.
So onward we move.

I do hope they're done talking to the audience about how we ought to feel about stuff through the various characters.     I'd be way more excited about Prentiss being in charge if I didn't know it was mostly to pacify those of us who think dumping Hotch was a mistake.

He is the reason I started watching the show. I loved him in Dharma & Greg. But ultimately he wasn't my favorite character. But I was sad he was let go.

They made Emily unit chief last week I think, whenever it was they said why Hotch was gone. 

IDK who the new guy (actual actor) is, and I haven't heard anything about Reid leaving, maybe Gubler just needs time off for a movie.

But Emily replaced Hotch and Alvez replaced Morgan. Why do they need an 8th agent? I don't get it!
MGG usually takes a couple of episodes off each year to work on other projects I think.

The supposed story is more man power to hunt Mr. Scratch. They just need to shoot him soon, he's not as interesting as the Reaper was.

I can't always deal with story lines that last a long time - my attention span is not there and I can't keep track of all the bad guys

The Reaper was annoying. The only time he was interesting was when he finally killed Haley. That and he will always be Ponyboy from "The Outsiders." No two ways about it. Ponyboy.

See, I never gave a crap about The Outsiders movie, I read the book and vaguely recall watching the movie once. He was the best recurring story for me so far. Not that they've done many.

WTH are they doing to Reid? I am not happy with this storyline at all! Anyone else agree with me?

And I am sorry but I am just not feeling Emily as the boss. And her saying wheels up just doesn't fit. They should have changed it for her to something like we take off in....

Emily has this constant constipated look on her face.  I like her, I do, but she always seems very troubled.

FWIT, Criminal Minds has always been my all time favorite show until now. I also hate Reed's story line and even though I am VERY glad Emily is back, she just does not fit into her new "boss" role. Rossi would have been a better choice.

I think most of the cast has lost their motivation and spark. It's almost as if they are just waiting for the curtain to fall (cancellation) and really don't care any more. Garcia seems to have some zest left, but most of it went out the window when Morgan left.

Thank goodness for old reruns on cable.

How long are they going to drag out this horrible Reid storyline. Pretty much everyone on their FB page hates it. I am quickly losing my love for this show and I no longer look forward to seeing it every week.

Haven't watched in so long. What is the story line with Reid? I stopped watching awhile ago.   If it's a spoiler, I can understand not filling me in.
