Poor guy. He has an owie on his nose? Give me a break.
He killed a police officer and severely wounded another one. What did people think was going to happen? That since he didn't run, the officers would ask him if he intended to come quietly and then NOT handcuff him? I don't suppose people have ever heard of a criminal pretending not to resist arrest and then when police come close, they shoot them?
It is standard procedure. This guy had to be considered armed. They have the criminal lie face down and extend their arms out to the sides. It's quite possible that when he lying face down, he scraped his nose on a rock. Perhaps it happened when he was being cuffed. That doesn't smack of any police brutality whatsoever. I've bled worse than that from cutting myself shaving. Shit happens when you do something to get arrested for.
I'm so sick of this bleeding heart crap, I could scream. Anybody express any of this outrage to the family of the officer killed or the family of the officer wounded? Or do we save all our outrage for the scumbags? I certainly don't think it's ok for a criminal to be abused when he has been subdued, but he has a freakin' cut on his nose. If those officers had been out to hurt him, it would have been a lot worse.

Let's see if I get this right, If an NFL player hit his girlfriend you want him banned for life from football and put in jail with Bubba for years to teach him a lesson.
You whine and cry if someone makes advances, whistles, or makes catcall, you want them neutered and hung from the nearest light pole.
But if police beat the dog crap out of handcuffed prisoner, that's OK.
I'm so glad you hold the police to a higher standard, Right??

I don't know who your post is questioning, oldcoyote, but any man who punches his girlfriend should go to jail. It doesn't matter if the guy is in the NFL or not. As far as being banned for life? I don't care one way or the other. Professional football is a joke, IMO, and I don't care what happens in the NFL. As long as people keep paying the outlandish prices to watch those men play a game, they get what they get because they are going to do what they want.
As far as the catcall thing, if you are talking to me, you have the wrong person. I think it's a bunch of histrionics myself, but evidently I'm not a real woman if I don't think the women should be scarred for life and the men should be killed on sight.
The police didn't "beat the dog crap" out of this guy. He had a small cut. And we don't know if it happened before, during or after he was handcuffed. Gross exaggerations do nothing but discredit arguments.

The guy had a cut on his nose and a bruise or two. How he got them, we don't know. What I can plainly see in the photograph is - he did not have the "dog crap" beat out of him.

I am still trying to figure out why this guy had "dog crap" in his system.

Yes, a knuckle sandwich, they just missed his mouth when they fed it to him.

Well? Probably more palatable than the hot lead he fed those two officers who weren't doing one thing to him.
