You're supposed to buy that stuff and split it among at least 3 people. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png) Every family member gets 1 fried Oreo at the fair, since they come in a batch of 5. I think we'll survive that. <<wonders if we'll have fried butter this year>> You touch my deep fried oreos and I will cut you You can eat 5 all at once?!

And I don't need the calories/fat from all 5.

Every time the "chain restaurants" conversation comes up, I end up going to McD's or Taco Hell on my way home ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/tongue.png) Kind of like my first stop after watching Super Size Me was for a super sized fry at McD's. So...nuggets, cheese burger, or tacos for dinner?

Speaking of chains in Chicago. I once ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp at Navy Pier. I liked it. I liked it. Even if it was made famous because of a very good movie. ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/yowza.png) The good thing about Chicago is you can walk off the horrible calorie count.

How about nuggets dipped in ice cream? That sounds really good actually. I can just blame it on being pregnant ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/tongue.png)

I think it was the fries, because I've mostly avoided them since then even though French fries are my favorite fried food.

True. I've not gained in three weeks and she gave me the stink eye last time. See? YOu need to go sit your tush down at a CF or some chain and eat. If you weren't pregnant I'd say you should challenge Dark to a food eating contest. But you are and we don't want premature labor bought on by too much time in the bathroom...

Well, if one redefines the four basic food groups as Stuff with Cheese, Stuff that's Deep-Fried, Stuff with High-Fructose Corn Syrup and Stuff with Animal Protein, no, I haven't. And I'm happy about that. Oh Jesus! Eating isn't that extreme. I do a good job of avoiding the above and i eat very well. It's not a burger with extra large fries versus a tomato kind of life. Did you miss the ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/grin.png) part? I was trying to be funny.

We don't have them anywhere near us, I wish we did, it sounds like the kind of place where I could eat without having to order two of everything.

We order dessert first and then get our meals. Whatever we don't eat from the meals we eat the next day for lunch.

We order dessert first and then get our meals. DH and I once went to a place known for lavish desserts and didn't order a meal at all- just dessert . Worked for us.

I have never been to a Cheesecake Factory. There are only 2 reasons I know that they exist 1. Someone stole my credit card and spent about $600 at one, and 2. The Big Bang Theory.
I am not against eating there, I just have never even seen one.

We order dessert first and then get our meals. DH and I once went to a place known for lavish desserts and didn't order a meal at all- just dessert . Worked for us. As a young man, got off work Friday evening from the car wash, got home, neighbor who worked construction tells me he would buy dinner at the local diner if I drove. Didn't bother to change and off we went. Got to talking dessert. I told him the best was served at one of the fanciest restaurants in town. So off we went. Waited almost an hour sitting with the well dressed citizens of the city. When we finally got a table and told them we were just there for dessert, they were a little unhappy. The busboy actually pulled the cloth napkins and replaced them with paper. That pastry with ice cream and hot fudge still treasured mighty fine. ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/charmed.png)

Lol! The show always makes me laugh when they show what's supposed to be cheesecake factory when that's not what they wear or how it looks based on the handful I've been to, yet the show still choose to go with that specific place.

Here they're themed, sort of. One is some kind of Italian villa or something. I don't remember the other 2 I've been in (One was Chicago) They're also free standing buildings so I'm assuming/judging that the interiors are different because the exteriors are.
