Hey-if Obama is going to be impeached, he might as well go out with a BANG!

Remember, folks: Impeachment DOES NOT mean "Removal from office".

I have already sent an email to the White House expressing my thoughts on the matter, along the lines of "NO! NO! 12 million times NO!".
Next to my equally useless Senators.

A resounding NO!
There are already protests all over the country in response to the influx of "unaccompanied minors."
Let's get back to the illegal part. They shouldn't be here in the first place.
ETA:
The more we reward lawbreakers, the more lawbreakers we attract. We have immigration laws. Seal the borders and enforce the laws.

so many things I need to say......but wow. I'm astounded by what little I skimmed in that link tonight. will read it in full in the morning after I've had some coffee. I already know I'll need a double kick in the ass to process the mess, what I read wasn't fun.

I aam pretty liberal on most social issues (soc sec, medicare, medicaid, food stamps, sec 8 housing.....) but NOT on this. Time to round them up and send ALL the illegals back to their country or origin.

So let's see if I've got this right so far...
The DACA order originally applied to those brought here that would be good contributing citizens...you know - the ones who managed the herculean feat of actually graduating from HS.
But apparently that was too difficult for a significant portion, so now we want to expand it to everyone who sneaks across the border, regardless of their ability to be self supporting
"Advocates would like to see deferred action made available to anyone who would have been eligible for eventual citizenship under a comprehensive immigration bill the Senate passed last year, which would be around 9 million people."
And - anchors away - the ability to have or bring a child born onto US soil "entitles" you to all the benefits of being a US citizen
""Our parents deserve to live without the fear of deportation," Maria Praeli, a 21-year-old from New Haven who came to the United States from Peru 16 years ago, said at a protest outside the White House on Monday. "It is time for the president to go big and to go bold."
So based on the entitlement mentality of these criminals, they are entitled to go wherever they want and demand to be given all the rights of citizenship and supported regardless of the laws of the land.
And we want to encourage more of them cause that will make our country stronger, right?
Why have any immigration laws at all?

We are never going to expel 12 million illegal immigrants. Never. So you all might as well accept that.
The proposal out there is to give these people papers to allow them to legally work in the U.S. Seeing as many, many of them are already working illegally in the U.S., give them the permission to legally work here and let them start paying into social security and state and federal tax programs based upon their earnings..
Prosecute and expell those who fail to pay income taxes just like we do with our citizens (except for the expelling).
As for the jobs they are taking away from our citizens-our citizens often do not want jobs or have the skills the illegal immigrants are performing which are often manual labor. I don't see the layed-off computer programmer picking tomatoes on the commercial tomato farm. That is not going to happen-ever. That some Americans refuse to take those jobs is a completely separate issue.
Finally, am I happy we have so many illegal immigrants in the country? No. But I am a realist. We are never going to repatriate any sizable number of these illegal immigrants. So we might as well start making money off of them to pay for the services they utilize.

We are never going to expel 12 million illegal immigrants. Never. So you all might as well accept that. It just is never going to happen. The costs & logistics make it impossible. So just give in. Give them papers, so they can pay a few dollars in income tax, and also start to qualify for social services. Just give in to people who think they get to pick and choose what laws they have to obey, and which they can ignore because they don't like the rules. Just give in, and reward all those people who knowingly and willingly broke our laws. And then prepare to deal with the next wave of illegal aliens who expect us to give in to them as well.

Yes, you can be rid of them. No school, no medical care except to stabilize, no social services of any kind. Drop an anchor baby here? It can stay and be adopted or it can return along with its mom back to own country. At 18, if no criminal record and self supporting, it can return. ALONE.

Or do you mean accelerating legal immigration of new arrivals, in addition to those already here? both. i think there is widespread agreement on legal migrants, however.

Well, as opposed to insulting one gender over another. Only the citizens want the illegals out. The politicians don't, which is why they're still here. The only reason they are pretending to get rid of the new wave is because of election fears. Once they're re-elected, screw us again.

Cute but typical. They are the enemy. They're invading this country illegally with every intention of staying here regardless of not being welcome. Notice none if these "children" are eligible for adoption? Why is that? Because they have family already here illegally or waiting to use them to get into this country.
