I got a lot of the grass and weeds out of the landscaping in the front, its not fine tuned yet. I need to do more but I pooped out and quit for today.
I'm very happy this evening, we are getting a reverse osmosis system for drinking water and to hook our fridge ice and water into that system. I do not like the taste of this water and the guy said it will take out the solids in the water also and improve the taste. I hope it improves the taste, we already have a Kinetico softener. Now I'm getting rid of the filter in the fridge, getting rid of the Primo water dispenser. Also he told me I do not need to use Finish in my dishwasher and go back to just regular liquid also not the really powerful powders I'm using. Told me not to use fabric softener also, which I do not. This might save a few bucks. It adds another water dispenser to my sink top but that's ok. I have been wanting this for a long time.

My poor old dog is having a time. He follows me around and today was trying to run, he is having a problem with a back leg and fell over. I wonder how much longer he can make it up and down the stairs. This morning he was struggling. He wants down there so bad and hubs figures one day he will have to carry him upstairs, poor old boy. I love him so but how long can he continue, I am worried about him.

We have excellent tap water here, but every time I visit someone and they give me fridge water or ice from the fridge dispenser, it tastes "off" to me. It tastes like the fridge. Nasty.

Our softener makes the water not taste great to me, but without the softener they said this water is really really hard and has a lot of solids. So I'm hoping this really helps the taste, we will see.
My dear old doggy is 14, he is a 60 pound dog and mostly lab so its his age, he has lost some weight. I had to put my 21 year old kitty down last year, I know he will be next. But I want to make him comfortable, he also has tumors all over him, they said he is to old to do anything. They don't seem to bother him. I read fish oil can help so going to give him that, arthritis meds are over $60 a month, not sure they will help.

Our dog is on glucosomine chews for his old joints. A little pricey but think they help him.

I read that will work, hubs takes it, may try. He had a hard time getting downstairs tonight, its cooling off, he wants in the basement. Even on a wool area rug not sure that's good for him to sleep down there, but he begs to go down, so I let him. He is terrified of storms and there are chances of them so I let him go.
He is super clingy anymore, I'm out pulling weeds and he lays close to me, sometimes when hubs is out he does the same to him. He will come up and wants us to pet him seems like forever. Sweet old guy, almost white muzzle, paws getting white, losing weight. He didn't like the dry food and really got skinny so I am feeding him more canned and more scrapes, cooked him a big pot of meaty beef bones, he is looking better. Never stops wagging his tail.

Nothing and what I thought would be a really reliable good washer quit. It was making a noise when we came back home. I will leave none on in the future when we leave. Thankfully nothing caught on fire or anything as DD was here. I am so disappointed, going to call a repair person and see if we can get it fixed, its full of water too. Hope they can. Clothes going out to old wringer washer in the garage to finish that load. Happy I had washed all of the clothing before it did. Darn
Been asleep all afternoon, took a valium for the procedure since I get panicky, found I didn't need it for that one, sigh.

I have the one wall wiped down, all the trash and junk out of that side of the garage, a bunch went in the trash. Paint cans downstairs, will use in DD's bathroom and bedroom when I get in there. I told hubs lets paint the rental walls the same color, it a pretty neutral.
Threw away stacks of newspapers, vacuumed up bunches of cobwebs, wiped down some more walls. Washed the bottom windows on the outside of the garage, have to move the ladder to do the tops. Was doing laundry again, had no idea how much I do till I was washing it the old way. But the stuff is so clean and smells so good. Hubs got the rest of the towels and brought them in, had to finish drying them, it was humid out today. And I left the throw rugs hanging out tonight. So clean linens and everything caught up again. Hubs and I decided to wear our same work clothes tomorrow and reuse our towels and wash cloths. DD uses towels and changes clothes by the cart load. But if I said anything she would probably quit bathing and she needs to do that so I say nothing. I had no idea how much clothes I wash for her daily though.
I may put my new drapes up in my office, already washed the windows, got them today.

I finished wiping down the garage walls this afternoon. Ended up washing clothes out there again. Not much of ours dirty, but I washed items in the garage and dust mops, things I planned on doing anyway while its still good weather and the rest of my throw rugs, I don't want them in the washer in the house.
My throw rugs from yesterday got dry. I threw away another wagon of junk out of the garage, put some things in the basement, the windows cleaned inside. I did the bottom outside on the garage, but have to get hubs to get the big ladder to do the top ones. And I also want to clean the light fixtures in the garage, its a 9 or 10 foot ceiling, so my regular one won't do them, trying to beat the cold weather. It's looking so nice out there but need to finish. I cleaned shelves and put things neatly on them, still have a few hours work to finish, will tomorrow.
I finally got relief today and I feel so much better. It's not enough but its a beginning I was starting to think I was going to have to go to the hospital. Apparently this med is also for the pain associated with IBS and that helps too. I've suffered with this most of my life, maybe this will be the answer. I just want to feel good again.

I won't play tennis indoors because of the tennis pro. There have been too many injury accidents and surgeries. He talks with a forked tongue telling my H. he's off on Fridays. Then whispers to me in the past he didn't want me at the tennis courts.
I am eating the wrong foods because of this rejection. Then GrS1 has had a major falling out with his live in GF.
Onward, replacement exercise is a video I used to do. I'm still not strong enough to do the whole 1 hour. Laundry while doing the exercise.

I'm lost. The tennis pro is telling a member that he doesn't want her at the tennis courts? What is his rationale? Can you report him? What are you paying money for if you aren't allowed to play.

Reverse osmosis removes all minerals from the water. There are minerals in water that are needed in the body and cannot be replaced by supplements. I would suggest drinking bottled mineral water in addition to the filtered water. About your elderly dog. When my late dog was getting down, the vet recommended ascripton (coated aspirin). Regular aspirin is bad for their stomach. I also used selenium but I don't remember why. I did carry my big shepherd in and out of the house with just a couple of stairs for as long as I could. She passed in 1993; and I will not go through that pain again. We mourn our elderly animals long before they pass.

I wish I could pick him up but he is about 60 pounds, I can hardly carry me on my foot, so I know I couldn't carry my dear old sweetie. Yes, its just a matter of time, he is just the best dog ever, like my kitty was. I still miss her.

Tell him to kiss your *** Try reporting him to the insurance company that is paying your membership. And don't worry too much about the manager of the facility. It is his/her job to make sure that members are happy. If he/she cannot do it, there is someone above him/her to report this attitude to. I am nice enough, but I wouldn't put up with being treated like this. You are a paying customer even if the insurance is paying. If he is saying that you make him look bad because you don't play well, play with the beginners. But he has to let you play. And he has to be polite about it. By the way, I am not very athletic so I make lots of instructors look bad. They don't take it personally. They just jokingly (?) suggest that if anyone asks me who my instructor is, give the "other" instructor's name.

I am running out of colognes, no Macys anymore, sigh. I ordered Estee Lauder Beautiful the big bottle and some body talc same fragrance, got a free jar of some type of make me young again stuff and got 15% off. Still it cost me $140 to smell good. I would also like some White Linen and talc but not right now. Could easily spend $300 on that. Used to, now need to space things out a bit, but that's ok. Need to check my cosmetics and see how my supply of makeup base and powder is. Those are Merle Norman the cremes are too when I get them, the rest is cheaper stuff. I don't like to run out of things.
I also ordered colloidial minerals, used to take them all the time, need to give to DD too.

I didn’t get whether he was asking you to stay off because you were too good or too bad but either way, what gall. I’m still on the kiss *** mantra.

Watching Dr Oz, explaining about diet and also heredity.
He is saying L arginine 2000 mg a day to help burn fat, hummm, now that's interesting.
I filled 2 more trash bags with undies, socks, and items. I can hardly stand most socks anymore if they are tight at all across the front 1/3 of my feet, they actually make my toes hurt. So I'm buying ones that are looser. Actually mens socks mainly as the toe section is much looser as its wider.

Got Roku on the other tv. Not a fan of Hulu so far but it’s free to me so it’s all good. Cut my cable bill from $198 to $70. That covers the increase in my 2019 health insurance premium for my “affordable health care.”

Actually mens socks mainly as the toe section is much looser as its wider. Dr. Oz recommends a lot of bullshit. From green coffee to goji berries to Garcinia to raspberry ketones to red palm oil ...if you bought all that crap, you'd be broke. Be really careful. His target audience is overweight women looking for quick fixes. Last week, 10 physicians penned a letter to Columbia University's dean of health sciences and medicine calling for the university to oust Dr. Mehmet Oz, who is a professor in the surgery department. The doctors accused Oz, named "America's doctor" by Oprah Winfrey in 2004, of "manifesting an egregious lack of integrity by promoting quack treatments and cures in the interest of personal financial gain." In particular, the doctors said Oz's critiques of genetically modified foods were fear-mongering and slammed him for peddling bogus weight-loss cures. The leader of the group, Henry Miller, a research fellow at the Hoover Institution, says Oz has been promoting "new age nonsense" on TV for years. www.huffingtonpost.ca/entry/dr-oz-products_n_7120654

On his show, Oz has called some herbal weight-loss products the "magic weight-loss cure" and "the No. 1 miracle in a bottle." Once these products are mentioned on the show, they can sell out instantly — a phenomenon known as the "the Oz effect." www.livescience.com/46397-science-of-dr-oz-miracle-diet-pills.htmlHe makes a lot of money peddling this crap. I want to reach out and slap him.

I wake early before my alarm. I needed to be up early to get a great deal on a mini cell phone purse but no. Forgot to set it. Yesterday I made a leather necklace and earring set. I picked the earrings off the holder and one dangle fell off the ear post. Ugh. I try to put it back on and it breaks. I picked the 2nd one up to look at it and the dangle falls off. Coarse language until I got them fixed.
Back to this morning. I go to Bible Study. Interesting the way the leaders present it; but all of us are in later years and leaders are in their 30s. They go on and on about how they manage their life. The content on scripture is good. Family lunch was planned at a pizza place in neighboring town that we had gift coupons for. DS calls and says it's closed even after he texted to make sure of the address. We go to one on the N. end of town that everyone knows how to get there. No sit down, eat in because cook and servers failed to come to work. Only take out. Choose Space Aliens because everyone knows where it is and like the menu. H. had told DS the first place was closed that he had to call surprise people. Yes, I was surprised. DD, GrD1 and GrGrD1 and GrGrS1 drove 3.5 hours to have lunch and brought gifts. A nice card, drawing of me, flower bouquet and cake. H. bought lunch for half of the people attending. Very fun lunch. I was a bit disappointed that I was going to miss a free video of Far From The Tree at the Heritage Center. I find out when I get home it was cancelled.

We need to do something like that, but hubs doesn't want to mess with all the controls on the stuff so I don't know. Might be worth it to save that much. I read part b won't go up in 2019 but I bet our supplement and drug coverage does. Just have to see how much it increases.

We just have 2 controls. One for tv and one for Roku. It's pretty simple.
