I cut and paste this from the main page.
ProBoards has sent me yet another PM regarding adult content. At least this time it wasn't a complaint, but still, not what I would call good news.
It seems that due to to abuse, they've decided that they are not going to allow us to choose our own avatars from the web anymore.. Not just us though- they are doing it across the board. Anyway, they provided me several groups of 'theme' avatars to choose from. I wasn't crazy about any of them, but I chose the one that had the widest variety to choose from.
This change will take effect at midnight, and if you had an avatar, your new one is based on some program that randomly assigns them. And yes..I am trying to appeal the decision because I don't think we have ANY that are questionable. Until then, I appreciate your patience.

I don't remember who was looking for Boost Q's recently, but, thought I'd let you know that at Wags yesterday, I saw 2 flavors of Boost on clearance. One was $3.xx and one was $4.xx, down from regular price of 15.99. If you have a Wags, maybe you want to check it out!

leanna - the Polygrip coupon is under the "Great Offers" section. Or if you're looking at the master list of all the coupons, its under the "GSK" section. Maybe you missed it? I think we've all bought some pretty weird stuff! Just for Men, Neuragen, Tena pads, K-Y...you name it. ;D Thanks FrugalSuz! I see it now - I was thinking you were referring to last months vv. Yaaaaaay leanna - duh, I put the wrong month in my post. They are from April's VV. Sorry about that!

So I went to Giant Eagle last night after work. So lucky I did...it was chaos; apparantly it's the day to go...everyone must have figured out to get the good deals you have to go the first day otherwise you have a snowballs chance of finding stuff in stock. I was lucky to find one bottle of each type of head and shoulders to do my deal.
I guess to get all my products, there had to be a tradeoff. I had two e-coupons that didn't "attach" to my card. I actually contemplated for about a minute of whether I wanted to continue with a transaction...then I thought to myself that I'm getting such good deals, is $2 really going to make a difference? When I added everything up, I got $99 worth of stuff for $23 (includes tax); everything averaged to about about 72 cents per products. Shampoo I use, conditioner, vitamins...stuff I would be paying $4-5 each even at Wal-mart.
Does anyone else get so caught up in the "deal" that they walk away from stuff they use on a regular basis even thought it's at a fraction of what they would normally pay? I feel sometimes I get too wrapped up to see the big picture.

BFF got it yesterday and was able to use the $1/1 and BOGO Q. They have been OOS at most stores so I got a raincheck.

proudmommy - she should've deducted the full price on 2 of the items, then $2 off the other 2. I always give cashiers the BOGOF Q first, then Man Qs. You might want contact CS, cause this was incorrect. HTH Meijer shoppers - look for Clearanced Charmin t/p (red packs) My store had 9ct packs marked down by 50% and also 30ct packs to $8.xx. I used some $1/2 Charmin Qs on this. I now have enough t/p to last the next 2½ - 3 yrs. Yep, I'm stocking up like crazy. Like dancinmama said, Hershey is increasing their prices by 10% (saw it on CNN) & beef prices are surging by 12%. P&G has also mentioned price increases. So for those of you who love Pampers, be sure to check out the deal at WAGS next week. Spend $20 get $5 RR2 x Pampers diapers $17.98 1 x Pampers wipes 2.50 Less 2 x diaper Qs (3.00) Less wipes Q (0.50) Less diapers IVC infant care (4.00) OOP $12.98, get $5 RR Total for 2 packs diapers + wipes after RR = $7.98If you have the $2 Diaper Qs from the booklet, your cost will the $6.98 after RRs. I know this is not the best price, but with all the price increases & poor deals, its best to stock up while the going is good. Thanks to stockpiling over the past 3½ yrs (since joining this group), I can now cherry pick the deals.

Also, is the april board started yet? Didn't see it but being the 1st of a certain month I wasn't sure what other weird things would.be going on

With all the talk about price increases, what products and how much of them do you stock as a hedge? Obviously, if you have enough storage, paper products could last forever, but I'm wondering what else is most useful to put away?

My food stockpile would look the same as it does now, except I did buy more of the following items than I might have otherwise, just cuz the economy is so bad. sugar (I recently added 32 lbs. to my stockpile) coffee (I currently have ten 11 oz. cans and ten 34.5 oz. cans) powdered coffeemate ( i have six 16 oz. containers and four 50 oz. containers) meats that are pre-packaged to avoid freezer burn (think the way your corned beef came packaged) (15) beef fillets (5) corned beefs (8) pork tenderloin (and plan to pick up a dozen more today) bacon (also well packaged to prevent freezer burn) (9) lbs (and plan to pick up another ten today) canned fish (specifically tuna and clams) - over 100 cans; most don't expire until 2013

suzi - when will the a-p-r-i-l thread be started? since words are automatically changing i wouldn't start it today until they end the j-o-k-e. avatars are back to normal but not the typing changes.

My computer still shows the Pokemon avatars. Some people who are at work are reporting that they see the "old" avatars.
