Press release on ABC news: "Obama released the name of the top CIA official in Afghanistan to over 1000 journalists in an email."

Just curious....
If the list was provided by military officials to the White House press office, and distributed by press officials, is there any logical reason for your wording here?
Thought not.

A Bush Administration official leaked the name of CIA operative Valerie Plame. Remember 'Plamegate'? ha, I was just looking up that guy's name to make the same sort of comment. his name's Richard Armitage - the Deputy Secretary of State. were the lot of y'all this pissed off back then?

But of course an inadvertent oversight by military officials which was not caught by lower-level press officials is far greater an offense against the country than a deliberate act by a Deputy Secretary of State.

The buck stops on his desk. the White House appointees are appointed by Obama and have his full faith and support. He is well aware of their abilities to keep certain things out of their emails

From the link:
So..., the only people who MAY have been appointed by President Obama were the ones who realized the mistake and corrected it? Sounds about right.
And I can't even figure out what the rest of your post was attempting to say. Would you like to try again? No, don't bother. There's likely nothing sensible there anyway.

Okay, no problem. But I still don't get why you think the President appoints or has any real direct meaningful contact with low-level employees.

we don't know right now exactly who was responsible for the leak. We still don't know exactly what happened with Ben Ghazi and for some [political?] reason may never know. It took a long time for Plamegate to come out, and yes the Bush administration was responsible for that IMHO.

Outside of requesting support and not getting it? Who is responsible for denying that request? Why was Susan Rice hung out to dry for repeating Obama's version of the story? Was he involved with that decision? Who decided to plan the whole thing on a video instead of actually take responsibility for what was actually unfolding? I must have missed all that. Can you fill in the blanks? Thanks

Can you fill in the blanks? Thanks Do you mean "support" as the attacks were taking place or the request for more security prior to the attacks? So the other main issues seem to be not about what happened at Benghazi but what happened in Washington D.C. The political games of the aftermath aren't all that interesting to me so I don't have the information to fill in those blanks. Sorry.

Is this is the reason there are so many 'Obama impeachment' polls on Internet?

There are always enough legitimate reasons to question a president or his actions. Making crap up only damages one's own credibility.

Is this is the reason there are so many 'Obama impeachment' polls on Internet? You would think that arming and training the people who'll be bombing your embassies and killing your soldiers in a few years would be an impeachable offense, but every US President since Nixon has done it consequence-free. It's comforting to know that in hard times, with massive debt, a sagging economy, and a near-universal demand by the American populace to withdraw from foreign conflicts, a Nobel Peace Prize winner will nevertheless stand tall to feed the war machine in the noble tradition of his predecessors.

Who was in charge of the situation room? Obama nor Clinton were in there...who was....and who was making the decisions and "what does it matter" at this point is not an answer

Here is a link to the testimony of the general who was making decisions at the time: armedservices.house.gov/index.cfm/files/serve?File_id=AAEBCAA5-4C8F-4820-BACD-2DB9B53C3424where was Pres Obama during the crisis? was he asleep as some claim...getting shuteye for his Las Vegas fundraiser the next day? Let us assume he was sleeping. What was he going to do at that point?Who was in charge of the situation room? Obama nor Clinton were in there...who was....and who was making the decisions Were there serious decisions to be made at the time by top officials?and "what does it matter" at this point is not an answer I think asking why it does matter is a great question.

If you obfuscate long enough, you can say it's old news and completely investigated. Trying to get to the correct details is politically motivated. Didn't you know ?
