So what are your hopes and dreams?
It can be for yourself, for the world, for your community, or for your offspring or family. Where ultimately do you want things to be? What's your "endgame?"

that's pretty deep. I'm not much on introspection. I just kind of exist.

I can't tell you what I want for dinner tonight, let alone what my "end game" is.

I want my kids to not feel like they need therapy once I'm done with them.

An 'Alien Abduction' perferably by a 'mad man in a blue box'. That, and perhaps the more realistic/actually might happen thing of getting to ride on the Space Elevator - don't really want to travel to the moon or anything - but the Space Elevator part just floats my boat. My personal endgame is to NOT wind up in old age being only able to watch TV and go over the Glory Days ( I may or may not have had). Although, a friend recently said she'd like to wind up old and when her mind deteriorated she's hoping she's stuck on each day being her birthday so she's happy. She works with the elderly - so she's seen her share of 'awfulness of old age'. That doesn't sound too bad to me... I'm not sure how to avoid that this potential problem of old age... I think I'll need to take up high risk activities as I get older so I die tradgically sky diving or mountain climbing or rubberrafting down rapids or something... Seriously, I'm hoping for a 'quiet' old age where I'm healthy enough and have enough money to spend time doing the odds and ends of odd and weird things I enjoy doing (which do NOT included watching TV, goig to restaurants, and drinking myself into oblivion every night <-- this seems to be a family trend). Basically, my life now - but without the 'working m-f 50 hr weeks'.

Crap, any suggestions for dinner for ME tonight LOL I was going to post the same thing. I don't mind the cooking part so much, it's the coming up with ideas that kills me. I ask the kids and one says food (thanks son), the other says Dominos and the other can't drag his attention away from Minecraft long enough to actually process the question.

I'd like to be able to travel and enjoy life as long as I can after I retire... maybe have a few (..dozen?) cats and not have to worry about money too much.

My youngest says Lucky Charms and oldest can't drag his attention away from Minecraft either. Sometimes I want to just chuck that ipod across the room.

To find someone who likes me for me and vice versa. To like all the quirks about myself. To spread happiness where I go, and to go far (many places, many people touched).
It's been a rough day. So I don't know how close any of that is. But there you are.

I hope my daughters find joy and fulfillment in their lives. I hope I'm not a burden to them in my old age. I hope the Republican party splits so the radical Christian element can be trivialized and they can get back to actually focusing on the economy before we give the whole thing to the Chinese with a nice bow on it. I hope we close the border before we get so flooded with illegal immigrants that we become a third world economy with a massive underclass and slums everywhere while the small percentage at the top lives in gated compounds. I hope I'm one of the people in the gated compounds if we go that route. I hope there's life on Titan.
I usually dream about sex, flying, or weird insecurities like being in public in an embarrassing situation or losing the ability to talk.

you not suggesting 'crap'? I am ESL you know... Only if that's a tasty and wonderful food in your first language Why don't you put some cut up chicken in your freezer divided by portions. Than have some swiss chard, or bok-choy or spinach or escarole or endive (all awesome wholesome greens) and when you don't know what to cook...throw chopped greens on a hot skillet with chopped tomatoes (can or fresh doesn't matter) with canned beans and garlic powder (no need to even salt it) and mix with your chicken. Best meal ever! 10min top. Then after you got it going - you will be creating heck out of these veggies/meats...

I do have a few "easy" dinners, I'm sick of them though. And sick of chicken, which is the cheapest meat around here lately. I'll cook, they'll eat and no one will starve even if we're not thrilled by dinner. <<shrug>>

I keep hoping to wake up a few sizes smaller and a few million richer... but alas, that does not happen. So I just keep working out and going to the office.

World peace.
Seriously, tho...I guess I don't know. Used to be the "white picket fence" dream, but now that I know that's a crock, I guess I don't have any long-range dreams. There are a couple of places I would like to visit before I die, but that's about as far-reaching as it gets.
