Egg sucking dogs!  Why would you bring in Choate in that situation? He is a "left-hander get 1 left handed batter out" guy. |

Yay Royals!!!! What in the hell is going on? The fireworks are exploding across the city  You guys are just outplaying us right now. Three close games.

Can not believe the Royals are going to the World Series! The neighbors all came out of their houses to dance in the street after that one, lol. Now if the Giants could just finish off thise red birds. ... this KC girl is not a fan. |

I waited 17 years to get back to this point and my O's just fell short. I'm absolutely crushed right now.

Sorry, Famcfo  I am glad the Giants booted out the Cardinals. At least we dont have to hear about bad ump calls. Lol! My Cardinal-fan friend the other day said it was ok, they would just be back to the playoffs next year. I told him not to get too cocky - I am sure the '86 Royals thought the same thing. Lol! |

Let's go, Royals! Game 7!!
Yesterday when I picked my 2-year old up from daycare, his teacher told me he'd been saying "Let's go, Royals" and emphatically clapping after it all day long. Then today when DH picked him up, she told him that C was singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" - LOL, I think DH is in heaven with a little baseball buddy.

That would awesome, Sam, except we won't actually be in town. My hometown festival is this whole week, and we're headed down tomorrow after work for the weekend. We do need to meet up sometime soon, though!

What a series! Such a nail biter Great games by both teams. Go Giants! How amazing was Mad Bum? We watched almost every Giants game over the season. What a roller coaster ride that was!! The Royals were exceptional opponents and made the World Series extremely exciting. |

The parade yesterday was FANtastic. Love that team. Go Giants!
Royals were worthy opponent. Lots of talent and I thought we might have another 18 inning marathon after the Giants error in the ninth. Yikes! Gotta love the Panda, the Giraffe, the Beast, the Preacher and Mad Bum. Let's hope they can get the Panda re-signed.

Congrats to the Giants. I was glad to see it go seven.
That MadBum guy is a beast! I want him on my team.
It was a disappointing ending for me but a good season overall. Can't wait until 2015. |
