The Marlins get "nothing" for Price and the Cardinals give up a starting outfielder and a starting pitcher for Lackey! (There has to be more there than meets the eye....in both cases.) psst.....Price played for the Rays..... sent from my electronic distraction Another example of the importance of not just typing and hitting "post".

I wanted David Price!
Detroit and Oakland are stacked!
We gave up a young arm for a two month rental of a reliever. I'm not crazy over it, but Miller is supposed to be good. I hope he gets rid of his mountain man beard though. Who told the Red Sox they look attractive like that? Chiver, was that you? Yuck!!!!

Lol hkguy! Virgil made me the emote for my donation to Diamonds' medical fund. Pretty cool, huh?
Went to the game yesterday. It was a pitcher's duel, but at least I was able to see my favorite player drive in the only run with a home run.
nalto, your pitching is outstanding! Cano is a killer and was the reason we lost on Saturday. All you need is a few more bats.

Welcome to the life of a Mariner's fan. I can't quite figure it out, but Seattle is where offense goes to die. Sure, we're never gonna put up crazy offense, but we should have won way more games against you guys. Most were one run losses!

The O's have the worst batting average in the majors since the All-Star break. If we get a guy on, we are not even moving him over. Davis is hitting less than .200 and now Cruz is in a serious slump. It is quite awful to watch. I feel your pain!

Is a division lead like a no-hitter? Don't mention it out loud, don't sit next to it?

nalto, the Mariners are hanging in that wild card race! They just won't quit! Alone at #2, and gunning for Oakland!

I think Chris Davis just destroyed the Orioles playoff run. Dumbass just caught a 25 game suspension for amphetamines.

I'm so disappointed in Davis. I think he is probably addicted, but that is no excuse for hurting his team the way he has.
On another note, Three is the magic number, yes it is, it's the magic number

I was at Jeter's last game at Camden Yards. It was a good one and the one that made the magic number 3.

Jeter may not get to play his last game at Yankee stadium as they are calling for rain all day. I had a tear in my eye as we eliminated the Yankees from postseason play at Yankee stadium yesterday...a tear of happiness.
Congrats to the Dodgers!

Well, they played. And that was awfully nice of the Orioles. Putting Meek in to pitch a meatball was a gift to Jeter. Normally I would have been very bothered, but it was a nice way for the old man to go out.

Hey Oakland, you really should not have traded Cespedes. See post #61. I knew they screwed up but no one asked me A's went downhill from that trade. Sad A's fan here

That was a pretty epic collapse. I used to like the A's until the Manny Machado thing and the fans wishing he ended up in a wheelchair and worse, so I can't say I'm heartbroken that they folded the way they did.
However, KC is a great story.
At least you have your Raiders!

No doubt Kansas City is a great team with a lot of mojo right now. It is going to be a challenge for sure.

Love my Royals! Always do, but this year they are making up for all the heartache since I was a toddler
