I'm not sure how many people are following this plane disappearance, but they have been blatantly lying since the get go. For the first few days the allowed people to search day and night knowing full well that the plane traveled for hours after the last radar ping. Israel is an high alert for this plane to come crashing into them, no surprise there as Israel is known for being "overly cautious". However, this morning the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee outright admitted that the plane after landing , could be loaded with explosives and used as a weapon. On the 9th of March Rupert Murdoch made the claim that the jihadist's took the plane with the intention of attacking China. This is interesting because Murdoch has more access to information than almost anyone on earth, and as I have mentioned before its just a matter of time before China has boots on the ground in the mid east. I'm not predicting that this plane will appear loaded with nukes and crash into China somewhere, at the same time I get a very uneasy feeling knowing the layers of crap that have been peeled off this.. well lie. I mean seriously. "They" expect us to believe in the day and age of Google earth, where I can virtually travel the Colorado river with my ancient PC, that a plane can "disappear" with some of the most sophisticated super computers in the world tracking it? Huh?

If you're talking about Flight 370, the "terrorism" most likely concerns Malaysian politics. Not your usual Islamofascism. Not to mention the fact that the plane would have nowhere near enough fuel to make it as far as Israel. Google Earth imagery was composited from dozens of satellite imagery databases, and is updated yearly at best, even over major urban centers. The Hollywood scene where a spaceborne satellite suddenly comes online with real-time high resolution optical imagery is a complete myth. It's the fictional equivalent of the "CSI" team zooming in 1000x on a single pixel in a blurry video and extracting a 3D model of the killer's face. If a plane turns off its various transponders and flies low enough, it can evade military radar quite capably. This one did. See the link above for more technical details.

I'm not concerned with the plane attacking Israel, it's just a fact they are on alert. So what your saying Virgil is that a plane, once landed and refuled, could easily fly around without anyone knowing it was there Boy that's even more reassuring. Don't forget my friend, Taiwan issued an alert to China about a possible terrorist attack just before this plane went "missing". An vid from 2012... Crazy what is, or isn't out there depending on your view point..

I clicked out of my element- but this is a very interesting story. We know it was on purpose- I read the tech and they disabled everything a pilot could but did not kill part of the ACARS- so it went somewhere- and if the purpose was to crash it then they wasted hours. I think it is very possible this plane could have been seized and turned into a weapon. Had to be a plan- and is there any evidence that such a plan failed?

Thanks for the input EVT, the Malaysian govt admitted that it was taken, which I have no doubt that they knew the whole time. My gut is telling me they were wishing in one hand that the plane did go down because they don't want to even look at what is in the other one.
You're correct, no crash site means the plane did NOT go down. On this point, I cannot believe that with all of our advanced satellite tech that after 10 days we can't find a wreckage of any kind. I mean, they are comparing this to what happend to Amelia Earhart! What's next, bringing the Wright bros into it somehow?

There's been talk of that around here too. Praying they don't turn that plane into another 9/11. Horrific to even think about...

if it was terrorists I think they would have publicized it by now--no one has taken credit
I'm thinking the pilot went crazy / suicidal and crashed the plane

Busymom, agreed. Quite the times when a crash killing 239 ppl is better than the alternative...
Mr. Bill, I initially was thinking the same thing. Problem is that they have now all but admitted that the plane landed. The link Virgil posted also outlines that we have equipment designed to tell if something has hit the water. This is how we know when people are detonating weapons underground or firing missles into the water.
If this is a plot, the "terrorist" will wait until after the attack to claim responsibility.

They would publicize it if they crashed it or if they wanted ransom. But if they're turning it into a flying bomb no body's going to say a damn word about it until it's crashing into it's intended target.

If the plane was completely full of fuel it could fly to Iran, Iraq and Afgansthan(sp?). 777 has the capability to fly half way around the world without stopping. Just saying.

The plane was only outfitted for a reasonably short flight from Malaysia to the mainland. Jetliners only carry as much fuel as necessary plus a reserve, since dead weight fuel is a huge expense. If the plane didn't in fact crash, it would need to be refueled in order to strike any target outside of southeast Asia.

As far as I know (from working at an aircraft maintenance/aviation company several years ago, an aircraft will break apart on impact during a crash (we've all seen them on the news).
If this Malaysian flight dropped into the ocean from an altitude as high as a jet that size needs to fly, the impact would leave debris and/or a fuel slick on the water - easily visible by today's technology.
It seems to me this plane was most likely hijacked and landed possibly anywhere in that general flight pattern - or even if it veered off-course, it could be anywhere within a few thousand miles - why? Who knows at this point.

Or, like US Airways Flight 1549 which safely landed in the Hudson River, it could have also made a safe water landing in the middle of the ocean and simply sunk to the bottom while no one escaped the aircraft.

There has been some talk of the plane having possibly landed somewhere near the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Pakistan denies anything was picked up by their radar, but that doesn't preclude the possibility the plane purposely evaded said radar. Right now, we don't know. If those who are expert in this field don't know where this plane is, I sure don't!

No Tenn, like SL said, at that altitude it would be like a missile coming into the water and there is no way our tech wouldn't pick it up. The Hudson river landing was a failure right after take off. Two completely different situations and it also doesn't account for the facts they have admitted to. On that point, apparently Thailand officials picked up a radar ping. Why didn't they same something? No one asked. AKA, Asian politics. Also, apparently people in Maldives reported seeing a very low flying plane. This would put it on a course for central Asia, home of the Uighur Muslims. There were 150 some Chinese people on the flight and Malaysia is known for falsified documents, hence the Iranians on board. Then there is this... Uighur leader: “We have plans for many attacks in China”

But the experts know way more than they are letting on, this is why there have been so many lies exposed in this already. That's what really bothers me about all this. You have a great point about evading radar, there is also the theory floating around out there that the pilot was able to hide in the radar signal of another plane...

It could have glided onto the ocean surface at a very low speed, much like a wheelless landing on a runway. We just do not know.

Thanks, Aham. If there have been lies told, I'd like to read them and read who told them, when, and why. I think there has been a lot of supposition, and guessing, but I don't recall any outright lies.

Thanks for saving me a bunch of time mmhmm. This is exactly what you are looking for, start at the bottom as its a blog of the events. The mystery of flight MH370: How on earth, with all our technology, do we lose a giant plane? There have been 3-4 BIG lies out of the Malaysian's so far. Like SL and EVT pointed out, there is no debris field and with our tech it highly unlikely that we wouldn't have seen a 777 splattered on the water or ground. The next big lie that it's looking like they will have to admit is that there wasn't even a crash. They have downloaded the info from the flight simulator and found that the pilot had been practicing landing on an air strip in/on the Indian Ocean, right by the Maldives..

Thanks, Aham. In the first place, I have no idea who's involved with "Extreme Tech" (the linked site), and I don't tend to believe everything I read on the internet. Most of what was there I've already read. The only "lie" I see is the Malaysians not wanting to admit they tracked an unknown and did nothing about it. That may, or may not be true (see my first point). The rest I see more as confusion (which I can understand), embarrassment (which I can't understand - nothing to be embarrassed about, but these ARE Southeast Asians), and having nowhere near enough data. I'm just not seeing all these lies. I haven't read about the downloaded info from the flight simulator yet, but will endeavor to find something on that and follow it.
Frankly, I don't think we've got a clue what happened to that plane at this point, and I don't think the Malaysians do, either. The Air France plane that disappeared left the same quandary and took a couple of years to work through. We'll have to see where this goes. I'm not about to hazard any guesses as I'm not anywhere near qualified to do so; especially since I have less information than those working on the problem.

NP, mmhmm.
1. They said the plane didn't fly for hours when the US put it out there, it did, and they admitted that after dening it.
2. They knew the whole time that the planes ACARS had been manually disabled, that's how they "now know" that it was turned off.
3. Ties into 1, they allowed people to seach for days knowing full well this plane didn't go down anywhere near where they claimed it had.
Now we have sightings of a low flying 777 right in the, now admitted, flight path where the piolt was simulating landing. We also know that a 777 would leave a massive crash site. We know quite a bit, the reason we have been so in the dark is because of the Malaysians mishandling/lying about what went down.

Well I have been praying that the debris found in the Southern Indian ocean was indeed from the plane, but it looks like it's another false alarm.. At this point I would say these are the most probable scenarios, based off the facts we know.. -The plane flew for hours, and as Tenn said, it glided into the ocean and sank out of sight. -Because of the lack of transparency from the Malaysian's, we were looking in the wrong places off the start and any debris field there was has sunk out of sight. -Because of the amount of foul play that is suspected the plane has been hijacked, landed and is now in the process of being fitted with explosives of some kind. -My most outlandish theory would be; after they knew it was jacked they scrambled jets and took it down because China is on high alert for terrorist attacks. This is highly unlikely due to the fact it would be pretty difficult to hide taking down a commercial jet, and it doesn't account for the plane flying for hours after the radar was shut off. Unfortunately, there is also the possibility that we might never find out what has happened because of the mishandling of the situation from the get go.

Aside from the fact this debris was supposedly on the surface off the coast of Perth and an advance spy plane couldn't see it, the map below sums up why I can't shake the feeling that this plane is going to show up, just not the way we want it too.. Also there is this.. Iranian Ship, in Plain View but Shrouded in Mystery, Looks Very Familiar to U.S.I mean, the NSA spying program? We can tell when a bomb goes off underground, or when a missile peters out and hits the water, but a jumbo jet is just gone? We monitor everything, everywhere, but a plane we can't find? Again, I get that the area they are searching right now is rough, but the debris was supposed to be on the surface and an advanced spy plane would have seen it no problem. Then there is that map that shows it going right towards central Asia, then turns 90° Cue the xfiles soundtrack.

I hate to say it, but I'm almost 100% sure that this debris in the southern Indian ocean is nothing but misdirection. I mean, they searched this area and several thousand kms around it for two days with advanced imaging and found nothing on the surface whatsoever. You can read a Q&A with Mr. Legerderwood, here.. He has maps and charts that logically outline this hidden plane concept, it's a very interesting read and he is backing up everything he claims....
