usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/11/18/21521590-911-calls-released-following-zimmerman-domestic-disturbance-arrest?liteSo apparently he was smashing shit, pointed a shotgun at his girlfriend , shoved her out of her house, barricaded the door and put all of the toys away while he waited for the cops. His girlfriend said in the call he knows how to play this game, also mentioned he had an AR-15. "I don't think he has nothing to lose at this point" George called too: Playing it cool. A little mouse. On the phone while the cops are banging on the door. So calm and collected. 'I just wanted to leave'. 'she started smashing stuff'.... Has an answer for everything. She's pregnant and moody. 'I don't want to go outside' and talk with the cops they will 'do the same thing they did before' 'Can I call my attorney?' Cops come through the door. Said in the main thread a while back it wouldn't be long before we heard about him again- I am surprised it wasn't a shooting. He needs serious mental help. (And so do the commenters that are tripling down on the fallen gun rights hero). Have to cut your losses. Plain as day who the real thug was/is. Or he is just a victim

Are you sure his girlfriend isn't a budding hood rat? No, but I'm sure it was all her fault.

Has anyone else listened to the audio of the calls? I only listened to 5 min of Zimmerman's 6:46min. long call and all of hers although the quality wasn't the best for me.
I'm wondering if anything will come of it, as I understand no charges were filed in the incident with the XW probably because the electronics were damaged too badly. It does sound similar though. The problems started when XW/GF asked him to leave...

Are you sure his girlfriend isn't a budding hood rat? They were probably fighting over who gets the last drop to drink of the Purple Lean.

She's probably right, since he has resorted to dating women who don't know the rules regarding double negatives.

If karma works, he should be dead soon or in jail at the very least.

George was already deranged before the trial, but having been acquitted, considers that a mandate to do anything he wants to do for the rest of his life. He has O.J. syndrome. He has been involved with the cops at least 4 times, not insluding a couple of traffic tickets after the trial. He can't even have a fight with his girlfriend without involving his gun, one way or another. He will kill again. He has no boundries and can not control his anger. We can only hope that somebody finds a legal reason to collar this guy, first.

I also believe that George will eventually either serve time for hurting or killing someone else, or someone is going to kill him. One day he might start something with the wrong person, someone that recognizes him and is aware of his history of violent behavior and they're going to get him before he can get them.

It was a bad day today for Zimmerman: "It was a rough day or George Zimmerman: His wife served him with divorce papers in jail, he was accused in court of choking his girlfriend and threatening suicide, and his lawyer revealed he’s $2.5 million in debt. Tuesday’s developments came hours before Zimmerman — who was arrested a day earlier on a felony assault charge for allegedly threatening his girlfriend with a gun — was released on $9,000 bond with an order to stay away from the woman and firearms." George Zimmerman's bond set at $9,000 as prosecutor airs choking accusation ABC Evening News stated Zimmerman's wife and her lawyer had been looking for him for six weeks to serve the divorce papers. Once they knew he was in jail and which jail, it was easy to serve the papers..

Egads! "Zimmerman's public defenders said Tuesday they were appointed to the case because Zimmerman said he couldn't afford an attorney. He is unemployed, according to a police report, and has about $150 to his name with debts of $2.5 million, according to his request for a public defender." Rest of article here

Then next he will be robbing someplace, he will eventually end up in jail, just a matter of time. Who would want someone working for them that is pulling a gun on people all the time? He is also a lawsuit waiting to happen. There ìs still the possibility of federal civil rights violations being filed against him ìn the death of T. Martin. It should be announced soon if that is going to happen.

Rest of article hereWell it is pretty obvious that O'Mara didn't take the case to get paid- and now that GZ has shown his ass repeatedly there is no lawyer that wants anything to do with him. But he did have money for a new shotgun.....And maybe an AR-15. Supposed to stay away from them on bond. The question I will never get an answer to is what would a hardcore 2nd amendment supporter do if GZ walked into their gun store tomorrow and asked for a couple 100 round mags and ammo? Would they sell it to him? Is there any point his supporters will bail? I keep reading he is a victim in all of this. To me it is pretty obvious the shooting was just a stop along a continuum of anger out of control. He had trouble with the cops and domestic issues before Martin, and has them now. Wonder if he still has a donation website to help him with that 2.5?

Seems to be another, his word against hers situation. I predict another aquittal or probation. Unless something new turns up in this case. This new girl friend couldn't possibly be lying about the deranged and evil Zimmerman.

Kind of has a lot of those situations don't you think? It's always been his word- what is it 6 incidents now? So maybe this lady barricaded the door after she went outside and broke the coffee table- GZ would never let anger get to him would he. Would never assault a cop, would never be caught on video destroying an ipad. And of course he would never shoot anyone. At least I hope he doesn't do it again- odds are not looking well.

His odds are pretty much the same as anyone else in the same situation. The court room isn't a liberal media presentation at the 6:30 evening news. The defendant will have to be proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt for the charges filed, not the past activities of his whole life. This will prove difficult on her word only. Hence my post, "that unless something new turns up"...

I don't think so- he is not the same as anyone else- he is in the OJ situation. Anyone involved with this has some bias.
Heck- judges are already biased against men for domestic situations and whether they admit to it or not, no one wants to be the judge that let him off the last time before he killed someone else. Same goes for the prosecutor.

I think he was "off" before the trial but if I went through what he went through, I'd be angry and bitter, too. His life was/is ruined.

Well if any good comes from it is should be the giant lesson to the next dumbass that thinks getting out of a vehicle to play cop is a good idea. Sure, you might avoid jail....but your life will be wrecked.
