Why do people continually attempt to stuff the wondrous variety of human sexuality into little boxes? That being said, is this a positive for the community in that a highly prominent person is an example of the many varieties of sexuality, proving that trying to put people into boxes is a fruitless exercise, or is it foder for the anti-gay crowd to say "you told us that people are born gay and she proves this wrong, so obviously it is a choice." |

Sexuality can be fluid for some people. Bisexuality comes to mind. Same-sex attraction can change (for some) to opposite-sex attraction in later years. The same can be said for opposite-sex attraction to same-sex attraction.
There are only three sexual orientations: heterosexuality, homosexuality, and bisexuality. (Some consider asexuality, an attraction to neither gender, to be a fourth sexual orientation).

I simply said that putting it a box or not, "I" don't want to see/hear/know about other people's sexuality and I wish I didn't have to. But people now-days seem to think that it's their duty to announce their sexuality to the world. And I said that it wasn't like that years ago. He says that I am wrong. Oh well |
