I thought that was Rummy's greatest moment right there. "Unknown unknowns". What's more, we know we have unknown unknowns. Is that what is is? The scary thing is, I understood him. Supports my point. If you don't take bs from one person, why take it from another. We know the admin knew 93 million people would LIKELY LOSE they're healthcare, and we're expected to believe that Obama didn't know this? This is by design. This law is designed to destroy healthcare in America as we know it and replace it with Universal Healthcare- one size fits all government run healthcare.

I wish that were true Paul- that we would replace it all with USPC, but it ain't. Some people with sub-standard plans- such as you apparently- will have to get other coverage, but most of us will just continue on with our existing coverage. The real big f'n deal is for those currently uninsured. They will get insurance, or at least have the opportunity to. Why does everything have to appear to be a nefarious plot to you? I didn't say it would happen. I just said that's the aim. It is a nefarious plot- and it's not just to me- but to Obama. He has admitted it-- repeatedly, and so have Dem supporters of this POS. Their aim is Universal Healthcare and the biggest obstacle to that goal has always been the overwhelmingly high rate of satisfaction Americans have reported with their health insurance and their doctors. Obama admitted this plan is 'transitional', and he's a very cynical, Alinkyite revolutionarie- so you bet I take him at his word and believe that's exactly what this is.

There's nothing nefarious about it. This was the best that could be gotten through congress at this time. If there's someone out there who doesn't know that ... well, I don't know what to tell that person. Read, I guess. Then, read some more. What is wanted is universal healthcare. ACA is a step in the right direction; albeit, a damned lousy one. I know I'm not the only person on the planet who's aware of that and who doesn't see a damned thing nefarious about it.

If this was the best they could do, they should all be run out of D.C. on a rail. Shame on them for passing terribly flawed misunderstood legislation. You can have a ll the good intent in the world, but if you pass a flawed bill, it is on them.

When a prototype is flawed, you fix it.
But deliberately introducing and embedding flaws while the prototype is in the developmental stages, in hope of getting a project stalled or a product discontinued... that is sabotage.

SO, you are saying, the Democrats imbedded flaws in the law? It is not like the Republicans wrote the law. Or even voted for it.

NBC didn't name it "lie of the year". politifact did. and Paul already pointed it out on another thread.

For some reason, If I copy a page from a source without writing something in the response box, the computer refuses to post to the thread. It says something must be in the box before posting

I'm moving these posts into the Obamacare Deathwatch thread. B2R already posted this in that thread and included the link. We don't need it all over the boards. - mmhmm, P&M Moderator

Tenn, this thread is about the President and the Unaffordable Healthcare Act death watch.
Palin is history. You know it I know it. It is kind of like quoting Jimmy Carter. Try to stay on topic

You don't have to be in office to lie. You just have to lie to get in office.

You're not supposed to be in the decision process, VB. Discussions on Obamacare are to be limited to this thread. We don't need another discussion on Obamacare every time somebody finds a new wonder, or a new gripe. It was considered Lie #1 by Politifact THIS YEAR. Politifact does a Lie #1 EVERY year.

And Palin's lie was #1 in 2009. And Romney's lie was #1 in 2012.
