I scored 67/100. I guess spending a lot of time traveling in the US when DH & I were working or vacationing has helped broaden my food experience.

I skimmed the list and I think I'd have a pretty low score. I eat just about any foods except for organ meats (brains, liver, etc.) There's a lot on that list, though, that's fatty, fried, or both. I just don't do that stuff anymore. I can live without it and it's not good for my health or my waistline. I got 19. Most of the items on that list don't really qualify as "food". I'd sooner try geoduck than chicken fried steak or shrimp and hushpuppies. *[Stalks off with nose in the air.]* really?? I'm allergic to shrimp and don't eat red meat (unless I'm drunk and *really* anemic......but that's another story), but I consider both of those options to be more edible than the geoduck. that thing was scary! sent from my electronic distraction

I've heard of "frito pie" before, but I thought it was put together like an actual pie. I still need to take the quiz myself. stoopid work filters, I can't even load the page. Me, too. A regular pie with Fritos in it.

I got a pretty high score but I blame that on my trips to WV and New Orleans, plus the friend that kept grits in his cabinet like I keep mashed potatoes. I don't think this shows how adventurous you are. We could start our own list: escargot, yak, frog, kimchi, tagine, injera, empanada, steak tartar, miso paste, marmite, spotted dick, sumac . . . I think a good indicator of adventurous eating is Durian Fruit.

The list reads more like a "this is why you're fat" list. But, uh, isn't a spotted dick something you should avoid? Lol. ;-)

It's a British pudding. By which I mean it's a type of cake with fruit in it. It's great as a stocking stuffer.

70. If I liked seafood, it would be higher - I've had quite a few of those items offered to me multiple times. The fact that my mom lived in Manhattan and dated a southerner who liked to cook for about 10 years helped widen my food choices. I would much rather eat hoppin john on new year's day than pork and sauerkraut. Fortunately, I also tried a lot of pies before I acquired my sensitivity to cinnamon....
